Kathleen is co-owner and creator of Lucky Kat Lotions, a fierce mama bear, devoted to creating ethical and succulent lotions for those that give a sh*t about what goes on their families bodies. Lucky Kat Lotion speaks to fellow mama bears, who seek responsibly made, non-toxic, products, believes in the healing power of plants, and has adopted a holistic approach to running a healthy home. Kathleen and her family lived on Kauai for 12 years, however the last 5 years proved to be the most challenging for her family, as they lived completely off the grid. It was during this time, that her daughter was diagnosed with a rare, genetic disorder called Smith-Magenis Syndrome. This diagnosis became the driving force behind wanting to create the most holistic household she could. She began replacing store bought goods with homemade goods, including lotions. Some were a success and some an epic failure, the end result being a beautiful assortment of lotions, that have developed a loyal following.
