We are SO excited to officially welcome our newest addition, Rachel Watson, to the Revive Hair & Lash Lounge family ✨

Rachel brings such incredible light, passion, and energy to our little Essex shop — Give Rachel and her adorable sidekick Zuko 🐾 a warm welcome.

Here’s a little about Rachel, in her own words:

Let me introduce myself: My name is Rachel Watson and I am addicted to being a hairstylist. I first fell in love with hair at 9 years old when my older sister dyed my hair ruby red while my mom was on vacation. I felt awesome, I felt powerful, I felt like myself. It didn’t take me long to realize how important hair is to your identity. To feel like the outer you matches the inner you. To look in the mirror and enjoy what you are looking at. To feel human again. To be confident in who you are.

Since then I’ve been a life-long learner of the beauty industry and still love hair. I’ve been in salon life since 2020 trying to help everyone feel a little bit better about taking on the world, one head of hair at a time. My favorite things to do are: explaining the science of hair, playing with the colors of the rainbow, blending away those pesky silvers, giving you the best haircut of your life, and making you fall asleep during my nap-worthy head massage.

I hope to see you in my chair! Just be prepared to nerd out, swap movie recommendations, and show me your pet photos!
