Wicked Roots Hair Studio started with a vision, and every year I’m reminded that owning a small business is about so much more than doing hair. It’s about building relationships, supporting other local businesses, showing up in my community, and continuing to put myself in rooms where growth happens.

Being at Baltimore Magazine’s Best of Baltimore Party was such a reminder of how much I love being surrounded by people who are building, creating, and making their mark on this city.

Five years into Wicked Roots, and I’m still dreaming bigger. 🥂

From now through September 4, we’re accepting new school supply donations to help children in Eastern Baltimore County start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

It was an evening filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and local businesses coming together to support one another. I truly believe that when we invest in our community and build genuine relationships, everyone grows.
