Before giving thanks & farewell to a successful lab buildout, I want to recognize a very special person with unparalleled potential in this industry, an insanely cool human with a heart & soul deep as the ocean: Elani Barber . She came in with a medical & agricultural background & after 9 months was a fully vigilant process operator, and now a lifelong friend :) I’m so proud of you LG, you got so much goin for you yo, keep killin it 😊💜🖤
And now for the companies & brands that made this lab buildout so successful! First off PSI (pressure safety inspectors) from castle rock, CO who guided me through my first official engineering peer review, a 4 month process that surely kicked my ass! (formerly delta separations) for the entire extraction & post processing suite, awesome technicians & customer support, can’t thank you guys enough for such quality equipment. Matt Hasenohr from who helped me enormously through my originally designed fluid service control manifold, such an epic project. .cbd, I hope you guys patent that unit someday, it was a thing of beauty!
Lastly of course .cbd for trusting me through a full facility installation & product launches. You guys have a long road ahead & all the potential & resources to get there, I hope Elani & I set you up well :) Hope to see some unique CBD products on grocery store shelves soon!

This is a good reminder that all the cups of coffee binged, ci******es smoked, pages of SOP’s & design documents written, and the complexities of daily engineering work ... all come together in a 10 minute walk from my desk to the Clackamas River.

What exactly is a Breadn’Milk Cocktail?! So ... take broad spectrum CBD h**p oil and distilled h**p terpenes, add to choice spirits, and combine with fresh pressed juices. This one was a Watermelon & Blueberry Mojito crafted for the & afterparty for the Seattle CBD Expo. The event was undoubtedly a night to remember :)
The bedrock of Breadn’Milk Cocktail Mixology products focuses on two scientific papers (links in the comments) that argue the pharmacological benefit of CBD on our body’s metabolism of alcohol. As products in our industry evolve, so should the science that helps us understand their mechanistic functions, otherwise we’re just drizzling CBD in transmission fluid & post-it notes because it sounds cool. Lol come on team, we’re better than that.

5 reasons why the cannagar is the undisputed champion of combustible cannabis products, (backed by science):
1- Convection Heat Transfer: most active compounds are vaporized in the zone beneath the coal called the pyrolysis zone. Those compounds are therefore distilled, not combusted 👍👌
2- Due to this anaerobic pyrolysis zone, Cannagars can vaporize dabs & oil concentrates when properly applied to the interior, a feature most combustible products can’t achieve. Ever try & smoke a dab with a lighter?! 😬🤢😖🤒bleh
