LaMarca's Barbershop
LaMarca's Barbershop was established in 2014. Since then we have built ourselves on quality services at neighborhood prices.
Our barbers are capable of pulling off all cuts and styles from traditional to trendy. We cater to men, kids, and college students The LaMarca's have been in the barber industry longer than you've been alive. In 1933, LaMarca's Barbershop was opened by brothers Sam LaMarca Sr. and Louis "Buzzy" LaMarca, in east Cleveland on 154th and Kinsman Ave. When the neighborhood started to decline the LaMarca brothers decide to go there separate ways. In 1966 Sam opened up his shop on Mayfield Rd. and SOM Center, where he continued to cut hair until his death in 1985. Sam Jr took over the shop, continuing the family trade. His son and daughter cut hair for him until 2003, when he decided to sell the shop and go into the pizza business. In 2014 Sam's grandson, Opened the ol' shop back up on 185th, calling it "The Original LaMarca's Barbershop" to pay homage to his family's trade.

UPDATE****
As a core philosophy of our business, we’ve always prided ourselves on being for the people, so we can’t just leave you guys hanging without a barbershop to go to. As I close down The LaMarca’s Barbershop East 185th location (the 5th in our families 4 generations of barbering) it’s an honor for us to send you all to
Mikey is a third generation barber himself. He is a an incredibly hardworking family guy who cares about this craft, not just because it puts food on his table, but because it runs through his blood. I say this with full confidence because Mikey is not someone I met last week. He was a long time customer of LaMarca’s East 185th. Mikey was a weekly customer throughout his high school years and even came by to hang out and enjoy the shop with his friend when not getting a haircut.
Although circumstance never lead to him working there, Mikey has credited myself and my former and deceased business partner Tony Heile as inspirations for pushing him into this career. On top of that he attended under the leadership of Laura Clemente. Laura and LaBarberia are both direct branches off the LaMarca Family barbering tree, and in tune with both of those accreditations, that makes Mikey not an indirect, but a complete and direct branch off of that tree too. I couldn’t be more honored to recommend all of you guys to his shop.
Mikey was also gracious enough to allow me to work Saturdays in his shop. I will be bookable through his website, which can be found through the link in his bio
HIS timing is perfect and as I scale AGAIN to the next level, I’m blessed to know all of our customers will be taken care of and I can continue to practice our craft a few hours a week.
Thank you for all your years of loyalty. The friends I’ve met and the lesson I learned will last a life time and beyond.
