✨ Why combine microneedling + a chemical peel?

Because they target skin renewal in different; and complementary ways.

Microneedling creates controlled micro-injury to stimulate collagen + elastin remodeling, helping improve texture, pores and the appearance of scarring.

Chemical peels work through controlled exfoliation, supporting cellular turnover and helping improve tone, pigmentation and surface texture.

And there’s research behind combining them.

A 2025 systematic review + meta-analysis of 9 studies (566 patients) found that combined microneedling + chemical peeling produced significantly greater improvement in atrophic acne scars than either treatment alone. In the included studies, adverse effects were generally mild and temporary.

The goal isn’t simply to make a treatment “more aggressive”.. it’s to strategically address multiple components of the skin-remodeling process while choosing peel type, depth, microneedling parameters and treatment intervals appropriately for the individual client.

🎓 SHE GRADUATED!

Today was likely this client’s final underarm laser hair removal treatment; and what you’re looking at is an entire WEEK of grow-out. 🤯

Those few tiny hairs circled in the photo? That’s basically all that showed up. The rest of her underarm is bare.

After completing her treatment series, she’s officially graduating from regular underarm laser sessions! 🥹✨

From constantly shaving to this after seven days without touching a razor?! This is why I love laser hair removal.

Maintenance may occasionally be needed over time as hormones and dormant follicles can affect new growth, but for now… class dismissed. 🍾🥂
