🚧What’s Happening near Chambers and Roosevelt? 🚧

The City started a critical infrastructure project in early March to update the Chambers Street bridge so that it can withstand a major earthquake. Retrofitting the Chambers Street bridge will allow emergency services to access the River Road and Santa Clara neighborhoods in the event of a major seismic event. People traveling through the area should expect delays and detours. This project is expected to run through the end of the year.

Although community members are advised to avoid the area when possible, there are detours in place. The detour requires people biking to briefly ride on the sidewalk and share the space with people walking. Like drivers, bikers are encouraged to adopt alternate routes if possible given the duration of the project; view the Eugene Bike Map (www.eugene-or.gov/1849) to see options. Alternatively, bike riders are legally allowed to claim the traffic lane and ride with vehicle traffic.

The City does not close lanes or require detours unless absolutely necessary. If you encounter road construction in any part of the city, slow down, travel cautiously and follow signed routes.

This has now been updated! Cathee has passed and now this is being used to help w funeral costs! Im so sorry if you happen to be reading this on here, it is hard to get ahold of everyone.

Please forgive my late post! It has been a day. We are cleared to open. It will not be business as usual. You should all know that every appointment will be a lot longer for me since my requirements have greatly changed. Cathee and I have spent a few days at the salon making big changes to get ready. I will be getting ahold of you as I make my way through the list. Like I said before I will start at the appointments that were first canceled and move forward from there. My first day back will be sort of a test day to see how it goes. I will have added screening and cleaning for each appointment. This in turn will
mean booking less appointments per day. Again, please know that you are all important to me and I will reach out to you as soon as I can.

I just wanted to update you all on the Covid19 situation. I am currently waiting for the true confirmation that we will be included in Phase 1 of reopening from Lane County! I am watching the website closely and I have not seen a release yet. When I , trust me, I will call you but I will be calling in the order of when we closed to reschedule. Please understand that there is simply no way to make up 7-8 weeks of hair. I have to call and speak to you all personally before your appts and go over new rules. I will be posting the new info soon and what to expect when you do come in.

Good news, our name change has been approved! Hopefully they(Facebook) decide to let us keep it for good!

The salon is coming along beautiful! Facebook will not allow me to change the name on this page. It is under review(who knows)! Just know our official name is Twisted Snipsters!

All appointments are now at the new salon location on Chambers! Try to give yourself some extra time while coming to your appointment, just in case you go to the old location! (Not that you would ever do that.) 🤣
