Now that’s a bonfire!
The burn pit- Noun
A giant pile of lumber, deadfall, and forest debris in the middle of a field on the edge of mountain community.
Each year the neighbors contribute to the pile after clearing their properties of old trees.
It’s good luck and good tradition to light the pile ablaze every year.
It was quite the fun adventure, Manor Lands!

Chemical peels are one of my favorite skincare treatments for their versatility.
They treat all kinds of skincare concerns including:
* Anti-Aging (Fine Lines/Wrinkles)
* Acne
* Texture and scarring
* Pigmentation
The process is simple. Chemical peels are typically incorporated into a customized facial treatment and typically each appointment is an hour.
I will cleanse, exfoliate, and prep your skin for treatment.
I then apply a chemical peel customized to your skin type and concerns.
Peels can vary in depth and intensity. Some peels are very light, and you will leave looking hydrated and glowy.
Some peels are more intense, and will leave your skin temporarily dry and flaky before revealing new and healthy skin cells.
It is a common misconception that all chemical peels will leave you beet red and peeling like a snake. While some peels will bring these results, it’s not always the case. These types of peels are not for beginners, and are for extreme cases.
Most chemical peels will leave you feeling a bit dry, red, and mildly flaky for a few days. It’s all part of the process, and you’ll soon see that healthy, fresh, glowy skin is the result.

Hi Friends, my name is Lexie and I graduated from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in 2023.
I’ve struggled with cystic acne and scarring for years.
I started learning about skincare in a desperate attempt to clear my skin as a self conscious teenager. This sparked my passion for the science behind skincare, and skincare ingredients.
I had a bad experience with accutane, and since then, I have made it my goal to help others treat acne without resorting to harsh drugs with severe side effects.
They don’t call me an acne expert for nothing!
