Chicago Marathon runners: you're officially in the home stretch! 🏃‍♀️🏃

You've spent months building mileage and endurance. Now is a good time to pay attention to what your body has been telling you along the way.

That nagging hip? The knee that's fine for five miles but starts talking at ten? Back pain that appears after your long runs? Pelvic heaviness or leaking when you pick up the pace?

Those symptoms are worth paying attention to.

As a physical therapist specializing in both orthopedic and pelvic floor care, I can look at how your whole body is working together and help address the issues that may be interfering with your run.

You've worked hard to get to that start line. Let's help your body feel ready for it.

Schedule an appointment and tag a friend who’s preparing for the marathon and might benefit from a visit.

You don't need a major injury to benefit from physical therapy.

Maybe your back has been bothering you every morning. Your knee isn't loving the stairs anymore. Or there's that shoulder pain you've been ignoring because it's "not that bad."

I treat orthopedic concerns throughout the body with personalized, one-on-one care designed to help you move better, build strength, and get back to the activities you enjoy.

You don't have to wait until something stops you completely.

A little extra movement adds up! 🚶‍♀️

Walking into work this morning and getting a few more steps into my day. You don't always need a full workout, just look for little opportunities to keep moving.

How are you moving today?

Back pain during pregnancy. Leaking after having kids. Rushing to the bathroom. Constipation.

These concerns are incredibly common… which is exactly why so many people assume they simply have to live with them.

But common doesn’t necessarily mean your body can’t improve.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help identify what’s contributing to your symptoms and give you practical tools to feel and move better.

If something has been bothering you (or someone you know), schedule an appointment and let’s take a closer look.

Incontinence is actually quite common in these high level athletes but it’s a shame that they are told it’s normal. Incontinence is common but not normal and Pelvic Floor PT can help!

A Hyrox athlete won the women’s Pro race in Beijing after continuing through a bowel incontinence incident, but the bigger question is why officials allowed the race to go on as conditions became a sanitation concern.

Hyrox now says it should have reacted immediately.

When people think about pelvic floor therapy, they often think about strengthening.

But many symptoms are actually caused by muscles that stay tight all day.

Learning how to coordinate, relax, and strengthen your pelvic floor is often the key to lasting improvement.

If you're experiencing pelvic pain, constipation, or bladder symptoms, physical therapy may help.

As the school year begins, routines start to change.

Maybe you're carrying backpacks, sitting through longer meetings, driving kids to activities, or finally finding time to focus on yourself again.

Whatever this season looks like for you, don't ignore the aches and pains that have been hanging around all summer.

Small issues are often easier to treat before they become bigger ones.

Schedule an appointment and let's help you move comfortably into fall.

Twenty years as a physical therapist has taught me that every patient is different.

The same diagnosis doesn't always mean the same treatment.

That's why every session is one-on-one, personalized, and designed around your goals. Not a one-size-fits-all program.

Helping people move better is still one of my favorite parts of every day.

I'd love to help you, too. Schedule an appointment today.
