I started renting a chair at The Colour Room as of July 2014. I have worked in the salon industry since I was 16 and received my cosmetology license from the Aveda Institute. I worked at a high-end salon in Lakeview for over 7 years and learned so much and met so many great people. I have also had advanced training at the Bumble and Bumble University in New York as well as many other classes. I then wanted to learn more about the business side of a salon. I began as an assistant manager and worked my way up to salon manager fairly quickly. I really enjoyed helping a business thrive and keeping things organized, but I was missing my artistic side of me. Understanding this business from both ends of the spectrum, I then decided to become my own boss. I started at renting at the Colour Room and now I have my own Sola Salon Suite. This gives me the best of both worlds and I am really excited for this new adventure. I am currently taking clients, by appointment only.

It has been a while, and I appreciate your patience during this time. I am pleased to share that I am now cancer-free and feeling much better. I am excited to re-enter the hair styling world, albeit at a gradual pace. Initially, I will be available to clients one day a week as I assess how my body responds.
Starting at the end of September or the beginning of October, I will be accepting Haircut appointments on Saturdays. At this time, I will only be offering haircuts; color services not yet available. I am currently working at Art + Science, located at 1629 Orrington Ave in Evanston. The price for haircuts will be around $90, though I will confirm this soon.
For appointment inquiries, please respond to this email or text me at 312-217-8885. In the near future, you will also be able to call Art + Science directly to schedule your appointments. There is paid street parking available, as well as an underground parking garage. The location is conveniently close to the Purple Line and the Metra Davis stop.
I understand that some of you may have found new stylists during my absence, and that is completely understandable. No need to respond to this email. I wanted to reach out to let you know about my return, should you be interested. Your kindness and support over the years has meant a great deal to me.

Hey Everyone! I would be so appreciative if I could get some feedback on my app. It is for Exercise 4.9.
It is a pet app like a pet log to record all the pets info like bathroom times, vaccines, meals, etc. I made it with two dogs but it could be with one dog or one cat or a cat and a dog, or whatever. I still need to add a “create an account page” for the android, but for now the home icon or hitting Create an Account takes you to Main Dashboard. I am still working on the logo/opening page and I am not sure about the name, ‘Woof & Meow’. Not all buttons are active and you wouldn’t always get a loading page when you tap the plus icon from the main dashboard screen, it is just to show an example of a loading page. There is a lot of buttons, drop downs, edit options I would add eventually ie tap to edit date, etc so ignore that for now or just pretend its already like that. Also in the future I would add pressing and holding the bars on the bar graphs things on Walks, Meal, or Vaccine page to give you full detail of that event it is displaying. I need constructive feedback and then tweak my design based on the feedback. Have any questions lmk 😬❤️
