Hi! I’ve changed a little bit about booking, so I wanted to update you all!
On my booking site, saturdays and most evenings will not show as available. That being said, it is like that so I can have more control over how much I’m working during those time frames. If you get on my site to book, and don’t see a time that works for you, message me! Don’t just assume that I won’t be able to get you in. Just trying to have a better work/life balance and take better care of myself!

Sharing an update on our girl from Lindsey’s husband, Aj.. (& links to the meal train & fundrazr pages! ♥️)

“Hi everyone. Wanted to update you on how things are going with Lindsey.

This has been her setup since getting home. To avoid stairs, and to make things as comfortable as possible, we had to bring a bed into the living room for the time being. She has to sleep at no less than a 30 degree incline.

As far as the tumor itself, we’re still waiting on results from pathology. She’s been doing some PT on her leg, from the knee down, including electrical stimulation therapy, but has yet to see any improvement. We’re hopeful it will, but of course there’s a chance it doesn’t. It’s one of the longest nerves in the body and is very slow to regenerate, so it will take some time, patience, and therapy to determine. An unfortunate complication that’s been a difficult adjustment.

She’s been in good spirits, all things considered. Very uncomfortable due to all of the medications, and as a consequence of them, not getting much sleep. She’s getting around with a walker, and resting as much as possible.

Tomorrow we head back to Indy to get the staples removed, and again for a follow appointment with the Dr on the 25th.

Surgery day was yesterday, and we’re happy to report that everything went well!❤️ Linds went back around 1pm Evansville time, and afterwards was in recovery until about 8pm.

So far the plan is still for her to stay in the hospital for 2-3 more days before heading home - and once she’s home that’s when she needs our help! Right now we’ve just got a couple of meals claimed on her meal train, and we really want to make sure that we take the stress of feeding the fam off of their table.❤️

For those wanting to help but are unable to provide a meal, don’t forget we’ve got her FundRazr, PayPal, CashApp and Venmo links on our website as well (I’ll put that link down below too!). So many of you have already donated and we are SO grateful. Let’s keep lifting up Lindsey and her family so she can heal with as little stress as possible.❤️

Many people have been asking about a meal train to help them for the next few weeks while she’s recovering - so Anna and I created this meal train page so it will be easy for everyone to pick days and keep everything organized.

Please make sure to read through the dietary restrictions as her doctors have her on a restricted diet, and if you have any other questions feel free to reach out. There’s also an option to send them a gift card to a restaurant as well.☺️

An update on our gal ♥️

Lindsey will be heading to Indy for a pre-op appointment on October 13th & her surgery has been scheduled for October 27!
Obviously there are various emotions surrounding that, but it does feel positive to have something scheduled & to be moving forward.

With 4 weeks of recovery, that means Linds will be back in the salon by December 1st. Just in time to get y’all ready for the holidays! ☺️

Along with the update we wanted take this time to thank each of you who have so generously donated to the fundraiser already. Every donation is *so* greatly appreciated.

Many of you have asked for ways to help Lindsey Deer, and here it is!❤️

(For those of you that don’t know - in August, Lindsey had tests performed by her doctor in hopes of discovering the cause of her frequent & severe migraines. Ultimately, the scans revealed that she has a brain tumor, which they believe to be a meningioma.

It has been determined that the tumor is invading the main vein in her head (technically a sinus) and is blocking the blood flow by 90%, so not all of the tumor will be able to be surgically removed. The remaining portion will likely be observed bi-annually and need radiation treatment depending upon its growth. Anna and I have put together a landing page on our website with the link to a FundRazr page (where the money goes directly to Lindsey and they won’t take the processing fees from her - they have the donators pay the 2.9% + .30 processing fees). We also put links to her Venmo, PayPal and CashApp if you’d rather donate directly to her that way, as well.

We all want to make sure that Lindsey and her family feel supported and loved by all of us during this time of stress and uncertainty - and we believe that helping ease the financial burden of time off work & medical bills is a great first step.

Once we get a confirmation of her surgery timeline we will also put together a meal train - and will post any updates from Lindsey there as well.
