🐍 Day 4: apparently, I’m a snake. 🐍
I said I wasn’t peeling that badly… and then I woke up like THIS. 💀😂
But underneath the shedding is where the aftercare really matters. 👇🏼
✨ My post-peel priorities:
💧 Barrier support: I’m keeping my routine gentle and focusing on hydration and protecting my skin barrier.
🫧 Balm is my bestie: Reapplying my Glymed+ cell protection balm as needed to help keep dry, flaky areas comfortable. No picking, pulling, or trying to speed up the shedding!
☀️ SPF is NON-NEGOTIABLE: I’m reapplying throughout the day, especially when outdoors, to protect my freshly resurfacing skin. Remember, SPF in the morning is just the beginning!
🚫 What I’m skipping: Exfoliants, retinoids, acids, scrubs, and anything that could further irritate my skin until it has recovered.
The flakes are flaking, the skin is shedding, and we’re documenting ALL of it. Because real skin education means showing the downtime, too. 🤍
