Sharing an update on our girl from Lindsey’s husband, Aj.. (& links to the meal train & fundrazr pages! ♥️)

“Hi everyone. Wanted to update you on how things are going with Lindsey.

This has been her setup since getting home. To avoid stairs, and to make things as comfortable as possible, we had to bring a bed into the living room for the time being. She has to sleep at no less than a 30 degree incline.

As far as the tumor itself, we’re still waiting on results from pathology. She’s been doing some PT on her leg, from the knee down, including electrical stimulation therapy, but has yet to see any improvement. We’re hopeful it will, but of course there’s a chance it doesn’t. It’s one of the longest nerves in the body and is very slow to regenerate, so it will take some time, patience, and therapy to determine. An unfortunate complication that’s been a difficult adjustment.

She’s been in good spirits, all things considered. Very uncomfortable due to all of the medications, and as a consequence of them, not getting much sleep. She’s getting around with a walker, and resting as much as possible.

Tomorrow we head back to Indy to get the staples removed, and again for a follow appointment with the Dr on the 25th.

SO glad that it’s finally warming up again! Every year, I don’t realize how much the extended grey and cold affects me until a day like this comes along and I’m a totally different person. 😂😂

Taking a moment to look back through some of the beautiful and wonderful humans that have been in my studio over the last year. There are so many more of you, and I am very grateful for each and every one! This will always be a place where you belong. ♥️

2024 brought a lot of growth and learning, and those are things that I hope to always earn more of. I know that 2025 will hold even more of that, and I will continue finding more ways that I can make your experiences here with me the best they can be!

Today I got a notification that three of my posts on this page had been reported and marked as “unsafe”. One was my profile photo (a photo of me with tagged photo credit), one was my cover photo (my logo with no caption), and the last one was the most recent post I made with cute laughing videos of a friend of mine with a caption talking about how much fun we have in the salon.

It’s honestly really frustrating and disheartening. I have worked so hard to build my business and create a place where everyone feels safe and welcome.. but, someone felt compelled to report innocent posts for what reason?

It’s saying that my “recommendations are suspended”, which means my reach is drastically decreased, and my page cannot be recommended to others.

Does anyone have any experience with this? The only option it gave me was to delete those posts. Two of which were on there for two years, which is one of the reasons this is so baffling to me.
