F/30/5’2 [169lbs > 135lbs = 34lbs] (13 months) reached my first goal of not being overweight anymore

I posted a few weeks ago, but had to delete my other account as someone from my personal life found it and was bitter. Anyway, I just reached my first goal of not being overweight anymore! For the next 8-12 weeks I’m gonna work on maintaining this weight & building more strength. I’ve recently gotten into some calisthenics & I am loving it. Also doing orange theory. Gonna add in some more weightlifting too. My ultimate goal is to cut to 125 but I’m gonna take a break from the cut for a bit and get some more strength piled on. Cheers to everyone on this page!! You guys motivate me so much❤️

As a Couple to Lose 225 Pounds Total
Together my husband and I have lost 225 pounds, and have been maintaining for about 3 months now. I attribute a large part of our success to doing this together because our goals were aligned, we encourage each other and there’s no resentment from either side.

We didn’t follow a “diet” because we knew whatever changes we made needed to be something we were okay doing for the rest of our lives. We did use a GLP, but neither of us ever experienced consistent appetite suppression, so we were able to use it as a tool to help us build sustainable habits for our new healthy lifestyle:

*Balanced meals that focus on protein and fiber — no low carb, keto, IF or cutting out any food group. I didn’t lose my love of food and one of my favorite hobbies became making lighter versions of our favorite indulgent foods.

*I was aiming for a 1000 calorie daily deficit. This was easy at the beginning because my TDEE was almost 3000, but as the weight came off and those calories decreased, it was vital that I stay active. I average 12,500 steps per day, plus daily cardio. I started strength training after about 6 months and wish I would have started sooner. I love being strong.

*Even how we vacation has changed. There’s less “cocktails on the beach,” and more hiking, exploring, and actually living the adventures.

The biggest lesson? It’s not just about weight loss. It’s about self-respect. About realizing that “someday” can be today if you take that first small step. We didn’t get here overnight, but every single day added up. If you’re ready to start getting in shape, don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start now, make sustainable changes, and keep going. You’ll be amazed at where you could be a year from now.

F/37/5’6” [350lbs > 275lbs] (2 years) The Post Divorce Glow ✨

01/07/2026

I will start this by saying that I never within one single fiber of my being, thought that I would ever be sitting here typing this out for the world to see.

I lived my entire life overweight, from a very young boy - 30 years of age. I vividly remember being TERRIFIED of seeing my weight on a scale, but remember being forced to at 13 years old, due to joining a boxing club. I weighed 193lbs that day, ingrained in my memory for the rest of my life… I remember thinking “you’re almost 200lbs… When are you going to do something about this?”….

Well, little did I know, I would go another 17 years of my life very obese and unhealthy. All while convincing myself that I was perfectly fine, and happy the way that I was. This “happiness” truly could not have been further from the truth. Yet I did truly believe I was happy. I had developed hypertension, high blood sugar (very close to diabetic), gout in both of my feet, severe joint pain, and a lower back that I would be thrilled to have only go out once per month. I also was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at 7 years old (which may sound out of place, but does play a massive role in my story).

I have always been a researcher, a learner. I would say it’s my truly, deep down favorite hobby as an adult. Theology studies are usually my go to, throughout all aspects of life. When I stumbled upon fasting and what a single ingredient near “ancestral” lifestyle “Could” do for you. I decided to for the 4,560th time, try another “diet”.

Food I can eat: If it doesn’t have an ingredient’s list, it’s fine. I can eat one time per day and I can eat essentially anything I want during that meal, as long as it’s a truly single ingredient food…. Side note, I’m picky (or used to be) so this quickly turned into a carnivore/ Paleo diet. But honestly, it’s really none of them, which I do fully explain in the end. I mainly only eat grilled or baked chicken, beef, fish, eggs and some fruit occasionally.

I went into this as I always do to a new “diet”. Very motivated, very pumped, and ready to overdo the absolute hell out of it for a few weeks, then crash back out and eat 8 honey buns mashed up in a half gallon of bluebell ice cream (true story….. sadly)…….

The first few weeks of this were honestly super easy, and you guessed it, I seen absolutely zero results in regard to weight loss. However, for the first time in my life. I felt “different”. I was aggravated, but yet super calm (more of both than usual). This feeling, this change was something I hadn’t felt, and it went unexplained. So I continued this “diet” anyway.

Fast forward to 2 months in….. This guy is fu***** DYING, I do not want to continue doing this. (This was addiction kicking in full force). I was driving down the road, between two local towns and I said “I’m weighing myself when I get home, and if I haven’t lost any weight, I’m done with this and I’m going to have pizza tonight.” Keep in mind like I said earlier, that childhood fear of scales still existed for me… I knew how much I weighed when I started the fasting. I was 303lbs (I always fluctuated between 300-315lbs). I arrived home, and aggressively pulled the scale that was laying vertically against the wall onto the floor and stepped on it… 289. 2 months in, and I had lost 14lbs. This was JUST enough to keep me going, but I still thought about that pizza and spicy ranch that night…..

I began to hone in on this “feeling” that I spoke of earlier. It was alignment, it was restoration of frequency, it was me healing from fasting and a natural diet. I started to compare what I was feeling to the countless theological texts I’ve read throughout the years, and THIS is what they spoke of. Consciousness, frequency, peace. It took 4 months before this had sat in with me. I knew at that point, nothing would stop me, I could finally see the metaphorical forest for the trees. I was healing from no longer poisoning my body, and allowing myself to heal.

Weight loss became an after thought, as I began to feel better and better every day. I get very emotional talking about it now, but this became a chase to see just how sick I was before. To prove a point to the people around me, my loved ones, my friends, that you can naturally heal yourself.

Tourette’s - 98% cured (if you have Tourette’s you understand what this actually means for you)

Blood sugar - cured

Hypertension- cured

Gout - Cured (over a year now with no flare up)

Lower back - Cured through training my lower back in the gym

07/15/2024 - 303lbs

07/26/2025 - 170lbs

I ended up going down to 162lbs at my lowest, but I have since rebuild muscle and I am currently 173lbs with a body fat percentage of 12.1%.

I have ENDLESS energy, I WANT to workout every day because I actually FEEL GOOD…. I HATED anything to do with moving before, I like gaming and watching TV… Now I only want to workout, play golf and be active and healthy.

This is now a lifestyle, I still only eat eggs, beef, chicken, fish, low carbohydrate vegetables, and fruit. Nothing else. And I absolutely thrive doing it.

I will never change my lifestyle, as it works for me. In no way shape or form am I sitting here writing this to push you into doing it exactly how I did it. I am only here to say, this is about a mental shift. You have to become a more conscious being to truly become ready to do it. You CAN blossom, you CAN discover you, in YOUR way. For me, it was a mental awakening triggered by fasting and discovering how to realign my energy and my frequency to life in general.

YOU are the greater, all things are possible.

My DM’s are ALWAYS open, I’m here for absolutely anyone who needs help. I want you to know, you’re not alone, and if this guy can do this and become reborn, so can you.

🤍

F/24/5’5” [193 > 123 = 70lbs] (20 months) Had some setbacks, but I’m feeling good!

Hello all! I wanted to take a moment and share my journey.

Around April 2024, I took a video of myself in a dress to show to my friends, and it quickly became a wake up call for me (hence to low quality of the before photo lol). I was not unhappy in my body, but I realized that I was no longer someone I recognized.

I very, very quickly lost 65 or so pounds, losing it all in about 10 months, getting down to around 128. The method through which I did this was not sustainable or healthy and lead to the development of an eating disorder.

As I suffered with the effects of my rapid weight loss and unhealthy eating habits (hair loss, fatigue, bruising, etc), I slowly began to get a healthier relationship with food.

That is until summer rolled around, being in a bathing suit was gut wrenching for me. I realized that all the weight I had lost had not magically fixed my self esteem issues, and I entered into a nasty B/P cycle.

In a very slow and steady manner, I gained back up to 137lbs. Still a healthy weight for me, but it was gained through an uncontrolled and unsustainable relationship with myself and my body.

I did end up taking a GLP-1, beginning in October of 2025, as an attempt to help with the “food noise” and it worked!

I no longer have the all consuming thoughts that I used to have surrounding food, and instead am able to work in a sustainable amount of calories without the guilt and shame that used to come with it. I feel free :)

*A side note is that my use of a GLP-1 was not intended to help me lose anymore weight, but instead to quiet my obsessive thoughts. I’m still working on figuring out what number of calories is right for me!*

Thank you if you ended up reading all of that!

F/32/5’3” [270lbs > 130lbs = 140lbs] (16 months) proud of her

Had to do one last look back on my progress before the year ends. I wish I had more before photos to look back on. This before is from a year before I started this journey. I started a glp-1 September 2024 and ended the year -40 lbs. My initial goal at the beginning of this year was just to get below 200 and I just kept moving the goal post from there now I’m ending the year down an additional 100 lbs. 16 months of fixing my relationship with food and moving my body daily got me here.

The goal for 2026 is definitely to gain more muscle and to figure out what healthy really looks and feels like for me. Being smaller is cool and everything for now but I miss having a butt because sitting for long periods of time is uncomfortable now 😂

F/35/5'8" [260>160=100lbs] (24 Months) This is my first and only time posting on social media, but my progress was worthwhile to me and I hope it encourages others.

Cut out alcohol and sugar, I eat mostly meat and veggies. I did not use any medication, this was diet and adding gradual excercise with walking/jogging. Added weightlifting about 6 mos ago. If you're having a hard time, just know I tried and failed for a few years. Keep going 💜
