My clients are loyal. And I LOVE that. 💕
Last week, I had a client who went to another local business for a facial (because I didn’t have a Saturday opening) and she told me and showed me her pictures after her treatment. Her skin was cut, raw and she had what looked like a chemical burn. She was so uncomfortable and I felt really bad for her. She said next time she will just wait for me. 😂
Finding the right esthetician who is educated, knows how to protect your skin barrier and microbiome, who takes the time to get to know your skin and make a plan- can be a little hard to find. That’s why it’s so important to know:

1. Who is doing your facial? How educated are they? How long have they been doing this?

2. What products are they using during your treatment? (Hopefully- a professional one and not an Amazon find) 🤞

3. What are they recommending for you at the time of the treatment? Are they doing a dermaplane, microderm and enzyme peel all at once? (This is really bad- don’t do that ever!)

4. What follow up products are they recommending you to use at home? (Otherwise it’s like paying to go to a personal trainer- and then eating McDonald’s… no progress.)

5. Sanitation! Is the treatment room clean? Floors, cabinets, wax pots, equipment? Are there used tools in the sink? Dirty laundry around? 🤢

I always do my very best to provide a professional, educated, experience for every client. I do my best to make everyone feel seen and loved and their skin care concerns heard. I use professional products in my backbar and I recommend the same products for home care. I always keep the health of the skin in mind and I will make a treatment plan fully customized to my clients needs. I take sanitation seriously and my space is spotless…almost always.
