I have wondered what I would say if this day ever came and I think I'm going to do my best to keep it short as possible while explaining at least a little.

Saturday the 23rd will be my last day of doing hair as my job.

Unfortunately a little over 3 years ago I was in a bad place with my book dealing with multiple salons closing and covid only made things worse. Doing hair has only produced hobby income the past several years so its is time for me to start treating it as such. There are aspects of the industry that make it very difficult to survive without a second income. On top of that I have been without insurance for 3 years now and that is too big of a risk to go without while working with the public.

I know this is very little notice but I wasnt given a full time position until today. I will do my best to get anyone in the last few days ill be in the salon but realistically I won't be able to accomodate everyone's schedules in that time.

If you have a standing appointment after July 23rd, unfortunately I will not be able to keep it. Anyone of my clients needing a referral to another stylist I'll be sending them to:

Given the uncertainty with the delta variant gaining ground, we will be requiring all patrons to be masked when entering the salon regardless of vaccination.

Salons are high risk for spread and play a critical part in how much community spread happens. Please understand why we are making the change. Thank you as always.

As of this past Sunday I have full efficacy of being vaccinated. Just one of the many things I continue to do to help clients have confidence and stay safe on the path to fully reopening.

I am now accepting new clients and referrals again. Any client you send my way just has to let me know who sent them and you will receive $5 off your next non-chemical service or $10 off your next chemical service.

I look forward to getting fully back to normal and as always I continue to appreciate your support!

This has been on my mind the past couple of days. Clearly something were doing is working.

With the current state of affairs, salons will have to adapt to accommodate new rules while still maintaining the ability to be profitable. Until the protocol changes, there will be a service fee of $5 added to all services. This is to cover cost of PPE and extended appointment times.

*This fee can potentially go up or down and will have to be adjusted as we find out the true cost of operating in a new manner.

I am now rebooking. I have missed appointments that will take priority first. When wanting to book please be specific with what day and time frame you are looking for. I have many people to book so if it can be done with less guess work it would be appreciated. I am currently overwhelmed with text so please allow me time to get back to you.

There will be new rules that I will follow up with when booking.
