Hello, I have a donation to share.

A lovely Christian group in Bellevue has gathered and would like to donate (free) surgical masks. There are only 100, and it is one per person, and we are trying to target those most as risk who have to leave their houses at this time.

They will be available by noon today (wed. 4/22) at both Welch's grocery and Best Teriyaki on 23rd & Colby. First come, first serve.

A couple in this group that donated these masks owns the property on Colby and simply wish to express God's love for people. How sweet is that?

Regarding the armed robbery at Welch's family grocery on 23rd & Colby:
Thank you GENERAL CAR WASH (you always stand up for the right people!), Greg Owens, my favorite plumber, and Tyler Dreyer, i.e. Sparky, your generosity concludes my part in this adventure. Julz keeps trying to get her words together to thank everyone, it is safe to say she was overwhelmed by the love shown to her by her community. Thank you everyone, we all did the best we could, and any further encouragement you have for her, please see her at Welch's!

No, we have not heard any more from EPD, but I will update if we do. I have another very important topic I wish to write about later, I hope you will read it, as if touches everyone in Everett! Unfortunately it is a seemingly large problem everyone is having with EPD, and I need input on another local robbery, and to ask if this situation is an example of why Everett Police Department has developed a rather negative reputation.

We aren't doing a go fund me page, and if we reach our goal, we will stop accepting donations. We have reached just over the half way mark!

ARMED ROBBERY at Welch's grocery last night. As soon as the police ok it, I will post videos of the 3 masked young men. this was gunpoint in the face of a very kind woman who befriends anyone who walks within 20 yards of her (Julz--you all know her).

They apparently were fairly rough with her, pushing her down and face into ground, and robbed not only the store, but her personally. More details and VIDEO when the police ok me to share. please, please share and help. Welch's is a local landmark run by generous, honest people.
