GOODBYE FOR NOW….

My dear clients and friends,

As most of you know my son Julian was diagnosed with type one diabetes in January of this year. It’s been a shock and huge adjustment to our family, but we are managing the best way we know how. Due to his on going needs, and being so young with a chronic disease, I’ve decided to put my hairstyling career on hold indefinitely. I feel that being more available for my family will not only help them, but also help me be the mother I need to be. It’s been very difficult juggling a career, caregiver and mom life. This has not been an easy decision, as I have loved my almost 28 years being a stylist, and most of all my wonderful and supportive clients. YOU are the reason my career has been successful and enjoyable. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m sure I will be circling back to hair at some point when Julian is a little older and more self sufficient in his care. I have several wonderful friends in the industry that I can refer you to, and that have offered their space to me if and when I return. I am very grateful and comforted knowing I have this option. My last day working will be the last day of school for my kids, May 24.

Thank you all for understanding how difficult of a decision this has been, and again, thank you for being the best part of Freebird Hair.
