I know I’m not the only one—summer is short, so I’m trying to pack in camping, swimming, vacations, and every sunny day I can.

Then I catch my reflection and think, “When did my color get so grown out, and why do my ends look like someone chewed on them?” 😅

Pixie has never been just a salon — it is a place filled with connection, light, and purpose because of each and every one of you.
I am actively searching for a new space as I have chosen not to renew my lease. While this transition brings change, I am looking forward to what comes next and will continue to keep everyone updated as plans come together and our future location takes shape.
If you happen to know of a potential space or have any recommendations, I would sincerely appreciate your support and suggestions. Please reach out to me if you have any leads.
In the meantime, we will continue taking regular appointments through the end of July and will share updates as soon as we have finalized our new salon home. Thank you for your continued encouragement, support, and trust during this transition.

Today is National Love a Tree Day, and I couldn’t help but share my favorite tree in Evergreen.
If this tree could talk, I’m sure it would tell us just how loved it is. Years ago when my kids were small, during the summers, we’d sit by it for picnics, play in the water, climb on it—and yes, even talk to it.
Now my kids are grown, but the salon sits right next to this tree. I see it every time I check someone out, make appointments, and every time I come and go from work. And I get to watch the next generation of kids loving it just the same—playing in the water, climbing its branches, inventing games all around it.
This tree radiates beauty and love… and yes, I still talk to it.
