Here is one of my most recent referrals for lash lift and tint ✨.
The need for touch is one of our most basic, primal needs.
Physical touch increases levels of dopamine and serotonin, 2 neurotransmitters that help regulate mood, and relieve stress and anxiety. Both are considered to be “happy hormones” as they play a role in positive mood and emotion.
Reflexology of the feet 👣 can be a great way to introduce physical touch to people who don’t care much for physical touch. By touching only the feet, you are still able to provide a service which benefits the entire body! 🤗

After a full classic set of lashes, I finished with this client around 9:30pm.
Working at night can be so nice, it’s quiet, peaceful, and a good way to decompress for both technician and client alike.
Bonus, if you work a day time job, you don’t have to take off of work to get your lashes done, just come after 🤗.

Recently, a patient came in to see me for a skin consultation. She wanted to seek treatment for scarring on her face and other areas of her body from a traumatic accident she experienced. It was crucial for her to try to get rid of them as soon as possible so she would not be forced to re-live the trauma she experienced with the scars as a constant reminder.
This was so powerful to me, because it shows the work we do in this field really isn’t superficial, it’s so much more. The work we do can touch a person not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

If you know me, you know I love to try different products, tools, & techniques in the treatment room.
My most recent favorite has been adding a papaya enzyme during facial sessions!
If I had to describe what an enzyme is, I would say it’s stronger than a physical (product) scrub, but not as strong as a chemical peel. Enzymes use fruit acids to gently slough off dead skin from surface. Sometimes you may feel a slight tingle on your skin during a treatment.
There are a variety enzymes, but this one has seemed to be just right for all my clients who have tried it so far! It’s gentle enough not to irritate the skin, but definitely has boosted facials to give the skin that extra ✨ GLOW ✨!
I highly recommend you try it when you come in for your next facial 😉❣️

Anyone else struggle with change?
Especially when it is unexpected or unwanted?
I hate to admit it, but that’s me.
Change can be hard (mentally, emotionally, & physically). Change can be painful. Not only can change affect you, but it can also significantly impact those around you.
It’s ok to grieve change, while we leave behind things that once were. Yet, we can’t lose sight of the beauty that comes with change. The prospect of something better. The purging of the unnecessary.
I can’t give enough thanks to everyone who has been more than supportive during my transition from working in Kapolei to Kaimuki. I’m so grateful to be able to work and have Julie and promote my services all the time and try their hardest to help build my clientele. Thank you for being nothing short of welcoming.
Thank you to all my clients, friends, and family for all the flowers, gifts, food, kind words, deep conversations, referrals, driving across the island to still get services, trying new services, offering a lending hand, hugs, prayers, shout outs, yelp reviews, and much, much more 💞.

…”That’s a wrap”
After 5 years of being at The Lash Out Bar, my time has come to an end.
There are no words or actions that can express the multitude of gratitude I have for my clients over the years.
Thank you for your kindness, patience, generosity, loyalty, support, and more. You have made a huge and positive impact on my life.
Sorry I have not been able to reach out to each and everyone of you personally, life has been hectic to say the least. I will miss you if you’re not able to follow, but if you do decide to follow…
I will be continuing my journey on Saturday, October 16, 2021. I know it’s such a journey from the west side, however, there are some really great perks about the move:
✨ First & foremost I’m looking forward to working under the direction of a powerhouse couple who share similar values 🙌🏽.
✨ Delicious food & drink spots on every single corner that I cannot even wait to try 🤤.
✨ The opportunity to get your nails done by some very talented & sweet staff while at the salon 💅.
✨ No longer working 3 jobs so that I can have more time with my loved ones, 🥰 allowing me to be more rested to offer better quality service my clients. Also, more time to learn and practice new skills to offer my clients (be on the lookout)!

▪️ Facial prices will be less and we have a really great promo going on for October, check it out!
▪️ The salon uses a different booking system, so it may take some time getting used to.
I still have some loose ends to tie up, so please hang tight while I do. (i.e. rebook and reschedule clients)
