Doing hair just isn’t doing hair for me.

It is building trust.
It is connection.
It is understanding.
It is sharing little things and big things.
It is watching each other’s families grow.
It is telling each other about your accomplishments and goals.
It is sharing about the hard times and the good times.
It is being there through the years.
Today has to be one of the hardest days in my career. A client of mine for over 10 years got diagnosed with cancer again. Today I helped her with the next phase of her journey. She is such an inspiring woman to me. Her story is not mine to tell but for me, she has helped me more than she knows.

Today I wrapped my arms around her and told her how much I truly appreciate our relationship and how much I have cherished her through out these years.

As I sit here crying, I think of all my clients through out the years and how truly lucky I am to have the career I do. My heart is in everyone one of my clients. 💜
