I became a Licensed Massage Therapist in Alaska in 2014. I have since worked for chiropractor and physical therapy clinics.

I work with pregnancy, children, and medical massage clients. I specialize in Thai Massage, which is a combination of assisted stretching with compression and trigger point therapy.

When you can't see your massage therapist

Masseuse, Masseur isn't so much a problem these days as people say it innocently. Back in the 40's and 50's it was code for illicit businesses. The current challenging word is massage parlor as all the media say that to describe the illicit businesses.

We need to start correcting the media when they refer to illicit businesses as a massage parlor. Call them what they are. A sexually oriented business disguised as massage. (SOB for short 😀)

📈 Neck pain is becoming more common in young people around the world.

A recent study found that neck pain has been rising since 1990, especially in girls and in countries with higher incomes. It is expected to continue growing by 2050.

Why it matters:
🔹 Neck pain can start young and get worse with age
🔹 Poor posture and excessive screen time may be part of the problem
🔹 Some developed areas are seeing faster increases than others

The good news? Early care, better posture, and regular movement can make a big difference.
