Burnout does not always look like exhaustion.
Sometimes, it feels like being wired and tired at the same time—short-tempered, unable to focus, and unable to truly relax.
According to Ayurveda, this pattern may involve more than stress alone. Accumulated imbalances can affect digestion, sleep, mental clarity, and the nervous system’s ability to settle.
At The Raj, our personalized programs combine Panchakarma purification, herbal support, nourishing meals, therapeutic treatments, and lifestyle guidance to address what may be driving the pattern—not simply quiet the symptoms temporarily.
As summer transitions toward fall, this is a supportive time to restore before carrying exhaustion into another season.
This is not about pushing through. It is about giving your body the conditions it needs to heal.
Limited August and early fall availability is open. Call our team or send us a direct message to learn more.

Hot days tend to mean later nights, more sugar, more stimulation, more everything. None of that is a problem on its own. The issue is having no off-ramp.
Try this tonight: dim the lights an hour before bed, skip the late scroll, and sip something warm instead of something cold. It's a small signal to your nervous system that the day is actually over.
Small ritual, real difference tomorrow.

Not a spa treatment. Not a juice cleanse. Panchakarma is a structured, 5-to-21-day Ayurvedic purification program designed to clear accumulated imbalance at the root — not just manage symptoms on the surface.
It typically includes:
— A consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor (Vaidya) to map your specific constitution and imbalances
— Daily treatments using warm herbalized oils, two technicians working in tandem
— Fresh, personalized meals built to support the process
— Herbal support specific to what your body needs to release
The Raj has been doing this since 1993 and remains the only facility outside India built specifically for it.

In Ayurveda, rest isn't the reward for productivity — it's a requirement for digestion, repair, and a steady nervous system. Skipping it doesn't make you more efficient; it just moves the cost further down the week.
If today gives you even a small pocket of unscheduled time, protect it. No agenda required.
And when one day of rest no longer feels like enough, Panchakarma at The Raj offers the time, personalized care, and authentic Ayurvedic treatments needed for a deeper reset.

Self-abhyanga (warm oil massage before showering) is one of the simplest daily practices in Ayurveda, and one of the most overlooked. It supports circulation, calms the nervous system, and gives Pitta somewhere productive to go instead of building up as irritability or heat in the body.
Sesame oil works well for most constitutions in summer; coconut oil is a cooler option if you run hot.
At The Raj, Abhyanga is included as part of our Panchakarma retreats, where it is given more extensively with generous amounts of warm, custom herbalized oils selected specifically for your body and what you need, supporting deep relaxation, circulation, cleansing, and nervous-system balance.

Pitta season calls for food that calms rather than fuels the fire. A few swaps that make a real difference:
— Cucumber, coconut, and leafy greens over chili and fried food
— Room-temperature or warm water over ice-cold drinks (ice actually slows digestion)
— Mint, fennel, and coriander instead of black pepper and garlic in excess
— Sweet, ripe fruit over sour or fermented foods
None of this is about restriction. It’s about giving your body less to fight against during the hottest stretch of the year.
For those feeling ready for a deeper seasonal reset, Panchakarma can help clear accumulated heat and imbalance, and our doors at The Raj are open whenever the time feels right.

One pattern we see constantly at The Raj: high-functioning, high-stress people who look fine on paper — and whose bodies have been quietly absorbing the cost for years. Disrupted sleep. Digestive issues. Blood pressure creeping up. Inflammation nobody's tracking.
Ayurveda treats these as connected, not separate. Ayurveda research has documented measurable reductions in stress markers and fat-soluble toxins through structured Panchakarma — not theory, documented outcomes.
You don't have to wait for a diagnosis to take this seriously.
Summer special pricing is available for a limited time, making this a good moment to finally plan your Panchakarma stay.
