Organic Girl Cosmetics

As some of you may know, I am a naturopathic medical student. I have an ongoing knowledge of medicinal herbs and plants, along with years of research and personal practice. As much as these plants can heal internally, they are just as powerful externally. I also live by the philosophy that you are what you eat, but you are also what you put on your skin! Unfortunately, beauty products that are found on shelves these days are FULL of toxic chemicals and questionable ingredients. If you wouldn't ingest them then I wouldn't suggest using them on your skin! (If you'd like more information on the safety of the ingredients used in modern cosmetics http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ is a very useful website that bases their information on research and scientific studies.) So my goal is to share with you all my homemade beauty products made with no toxic chemicals. I would also like to add, that I could use some inspiration! If anybody has specific skin products they are looking for, or skin problems I am open to experimenting.
