Moonstone Mystics Massage Therapy & Wellness

happy Friday!

Samantha here has a lot to meow about today!

first things first, a little about Samantha-

Samantha is a confident, independent girl with plenty of personality and a whole lot of charm. She knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to let you know! While she enjoys affection, she prefers to receive it on her own terms and would love a calm, peaceful home where she can be your one and only pet.
Samantha has lived with other cats before and has decided that the solo life is much more her style. She’s looking for someone who will appreciate her unique personality, give her time to settle in, and let their bond grow naturally.

If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a little sass, a lot of character, and a heart of her own, Samantha just might be the girl you’ve been waiting for. ❤️

Come meet Samantha at KVHS during adoption hours and see if you’re the perfect match!

now that you have been properly introduced, Samantha wants you to know that so far, we have raised $215 for Samantha and the crew at KVHS!! we have a goal of $1,000 before the end of the year, and all of my massage rockstars have done a fantastic job so far at chipping away at that goal!

thank you all so much, stay tuned for next weeks update from another KVHS companion!

I am thrilled to be working with Kennebec Valley Humane Society through the rest of 2026, and have great news regarding the current fundraiser happening here at Moonstone Mystics! I have now been collecting donations for less than ONE week for KVHS, and because of my sweet, caring followers, over $150 already has been raised for animals who reside at the humane society waiting for their forever family to come scoop them up!

From here on out I will be sharing a weekly update with how much has been collected, and to help make these posts even more exciting, I will have a photo and info about one of KVHS’s very own animal friends to help me make my announcements 🐾💖

There are 10 days left in September to make a donation at your massage appointment, or donate through me to win your shot at the September raffle (with more to come in October)!

This week, meet LOKI!
Loki is an absolute love bug with a big heart and so much love to give! Once he gets to know you, he’ll be a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He’s the kind of dog who will happily become your shadow and make himself right at home in your heart.
Loki can be a little unsure when he encounters new people, places, or situations, so he’s looking for a special person who will be patient with him and help him build his confidence. With time, encouragement, and plenty of love, we believe Loki will continue to blossom into the wonderful companion we know he can be.

His ideal home would be one where someone is around most of the time. An adopter who works from home, can bring Loki to work, or is retired and enjoys having a four-legged companion by their side would be a great fit for him.

Loki is expected to do well with children 5yrs and up. He would also love to be the only pet in the home, where he can enjoy being the center of his family’s attention and soak up all the love he deserves.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to give a sweet boy a little time to find his confidence, Loki may be the perfect match for you.

If you want to see more of Loki’s friends at KVHS check them out here!

Those who know me, know that animal welfare is something very very important to me.

While I was in massage school, and early into my career in massage I was fortunate enough to be employed at Kennebec Valley Humane Society. The amazing crew there goes above and beyond every day into providing the proper care and treatment for the many animals that enter their facility, and LOVE and advocate for each one of those sweet babies. This is an extremely emotionally and physically taxing job, but yet the most rewarding job that I have ever had.

KVHS is different than a lot of animal shelters. Not only do they feed and house animals, they also provide extensive medical and dental care, and perform spay and neuters right on site to reduce the stress of the animals who need procedures before being adopted. This level of care is quite costly, requiring a lot of funding to make it possible to provide that quality care.

With all of that being said I am dedicating the rest of 2026 to give back to the selfless crew that works there, and the animals that reside at KVHS, and I am hoping my clients are willing to help me out!

For September, the employees of KVHS and anyone working in animal welfare gets $15 off any service💆🏻‍♀️

I will also be collecting donations now through the end of the year that will go directly to KVHS at the end of each month. For September anyone who donates through my business will be entered to win a free massage.
During the rest of the year I will be doing a different special every month for those who donate

I am excited to be partnering with KVHS for some of my giveaways, and super hopeful that together we can all contribute to a great cause and make a difference for the animals who need help finding their forever homes!🐾💖

to all my followers old and new,

firstly, i want to thank you all again for making my business dreams come true, trusting me, and allowing me to work on your bodies. after years and years of working for a corporation, creating and owning my very own small business is the most fulfilling thing i have ever done! however, with any business/job there are also challenges that arise

starting today, there are updates to my business policy going into effect.

i will be requiring a one time form to be filled out for each of my clients before i render any work going forward. this form will outline all expectations and rules related to my practice. this form will also go into detail about my cancellation policy which is also posted here below. i am also reposting my rates so everyone is clear on what would be due for cancellations.

i will require clients to have a card on file (you can still pay for your sessions with your preferred method of payment) as a safety measure to protect myself and my business. being a small business owner means that i rely on my work daily to pay my bills, and budget out my expenses. i have a household to provide for, i have booth rent to pay so i have a space to give massage, i have supplies to purchase and pets to feed. with that being said cancellations without a 24 hour notice to be able to fill the spot and ESPECIALLY no call no shows are incredibly impactful on maintaining all that was mentioned above. i don’t receive a set weekly paycheck, i don’t get paid time off. if i don’t work, or if someone cancels last minute, i don’t get paid. i appreciate you all for understanding that these changes are being put into place to protect my livelihood, so i can continue to deliver wonderful massage for all of my equally wonderful clients, and provide the best life that i can to my family and my pets.

if anyone has any questions or concerns, please feel free to message me personally, and i would be happy to clear things up!
