I want to be really honest for a moment 🤍

Coming back to work after two maternity leaves has been harder than I ever expected and not just physically or emotionally, but professionally too. I’ve lost a lot of clientele along the way, and that’s something I haven’t shared much.

At first, a cancellation didn’t stress me out. Honestly, it felt like a blessing more time at home with my babies, more moments I knew I’d never get back. But now, when I see a notification pop up on my phone that says “a client has canceled or rescheduled,” my stomach turns a little every time.

I’ve always tried to be extremely accommodating. Life happens, and I truly understand that. But it’s hard when it feels like it’s always the same people canceling last minute, and it starts to make you question your worth, your time, and your place.

This year, I’m being really intentional and prayerful—about who I’m building with. I’m trusting God to bring clients who value my time, who value good conversation, good hair, and true relaxation. Clients who see their appointment not just as a slot on a calendar, but as a shared commitment.

To the clients I do have—the ones who have shown up for me faithfully for years ,I cannot thank you enough. You are so important to me, and please know you are always in my prayers. Your loyalty, consistency, and kindness have carried me through seasons of doubt more than you’ll ever realize.

I’m still here. Still showing up. Still loving what I do. And trusting that God is aligning the right people with my chair 🤍
