We take the care and protection of our equipment very seriously—and we want to share why our product policy matters so much.

The acrylics in our beds are a major investment. The least expensive one we replace is around $1,200, and the most expensive can reach $4,500. These aren’t just parts—they directly impact the performance, safety, and quality of every session.

Because of that, we only allow non-expired products purchased directly from us to come in contact with our equipment. This helps protect our investment and ensures you’re getting the best possible results every time.

Why does this matter?

Acrylics are designed specifically for tanning environments. When exposed to heat and light, they become slightly porous, allowing up to 99% light pass-through while still maintaining strength (with weight limits around 285 lbs).

When non-salon products are used, a few things can happen:
• They can clog the pores, reducing light output
• They don’t fully clean out of the surface
• They can trap excess heat
• Over time, this leads to micro-cracking, weakening the acrylic and shortening its lifespan

We’ve tried to be flexible in the past—especially in stand-up units—but unfortunately, we’ve had to replace those acrylics too due to damage… even with minimal contact.

✔ Backed by manufacturers
✔ Free from contamination, tampering, or counterfeit risk

Fun fact: many professional lotions actually state they should be purchased through a salon. That’s because manufacturers often won’t stand behind products bought from unauthorized sources or online.

✨ Preserving the experience we work so hard to provide

The best way to put it?

Bringing your own lotion into a tanning salon is kind of like bringing a Walmart steak to a five-star restaurant and asking the chef to cook it… just doesn’t hit the same 😅

As we begin the relamping process, we want to share an important reminder about our policy for newly relamped beds ⬇️

New Lamp Policy:
✨ 1st session: Deduct 4 minutes from your last tan time
✨ 2nd session: Add up to 2 minutes based on your results from session 1
✨ 3rd session: Add up to 2 minutes based on your results from session 2

There will be no exceptions to this policy.

We implement this process because we truly care about the health of your skin. Fresh lamps are stronger, and your safety is always our top priority. Our goal is to provide a safe, consistent environment so you can get your glow on the right way ☀️
