I never thought I’d have to write something like this as an uncle.

Last weekend, my sister’s daughter — my niece, Mariah — began complaining about back pain. We did what families do. Tylenol. Ibuprofen. Hoping it would pass. It didn’t. On New Year’s Eve, her pediatrician knew something wasn’t right and sent them straight to Boston Children’s Hospital.

Within hours of arriving, our entire world stopped.

Mariah was diagnosed with Hyperdiploid B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL).

There are moments in life that split time in two — before and after.
This was one of them.

Watching your sister hear the word leukemia about her child is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It’s fear, helplessness, and heartbreak all at once. And yet, even in the middle of that moment, Mariah showed us exactly who she is.

She is strong.
She is brave.
She is tougher than anything this world has thrown at her.

She is surrounded by the best doctors, the most advanced medicine, and an incredible care team. Her prognosis is extremely promising, and we are holding tight to faith as we take this one day at a time.

As her uncle, there’s one thing I refuse to do — stand on the sidelines.

Effective immediately, 100% of proceeds from Over The Rail Co. will go directly toward Mariah’s treatment-related expenses and helping my sister and her family through this fight.

This brand was built on family, faith, and showing up when it matters most. This isn’t business. This isn’t promotion.
This is my niece.
This is family.

I don’t know what tomorrow brings. None of us do.
But I do know this — Mariah is not walking this road alone.

Please keep her in your prayers. Pray for strength for my sister. Pray for peace on the hardest nights. Pray for healing. We believe with everything in us that God is guiding every step of this journey.

Anyone who knows Mariah knows how strong she is — and we know she’s going to beat this.
