Please feel free to join us for our book club meeting tonight. We'll be meeting up at the barbershop around 7:00pm.

We'll begin our discussion of "The Dispossessed" by Ursula K LeGuin tonight. We are just starting the book, so no worries if you haven't started it yet.

We'll also discuss whatever else is on everyone's mind, from current events, politics, good movies, whatever. Come join your friends and neighbors as we hang out and have some great chats about whatever.

Bring something to snack on or sip on or share if you'd like, because in classic form, I forgot to stop at the store and grab stuff.

Our very own is hosting an event at the barbershop on 06/30/2026 from 3:00pm-7:00pm.

Spitshine your sh*tkickers, throw on your finest jeans, and don't forget to round up your ten gallon hat and bring it on by to get it shaped, stretched, and cleaned by the one and only
..and while you're at it, why not get an official Cowfolk haircut with Cam!

Maybe we'll even stoke up the fire and throw some irons in to do some branding! We'll be playing both kinds of music too... Country AND Western.

Today we celebrate the symbolic end of legalized slavery in the United States. Undoubtedly, the country remains unequal and broken in many ways, but hopefully we can all spend today and every day forward working together for a better brighter future. Let’s all make time to learn from each other, to have meaningful conversations, and to reflect on what it means to truly love your neighbors. Let’s try to understand one another better, to gain some insight on what someone else’s journey looks like, and to become better friends and neighbors to all the other humans. Join us in recognizing and reflecting on the privilege that many of us undeservedly enjoy. Let’s acknowledge this privilege, no matter how great or slight, and find ways to effectively utilize it to empower others. Let’s all try to love each other more, to be more patient with one another, to be more understanding, and to simply be better. If we all join to work together we will be unstoppable! Peace and love to us all!
