Updated Cancellation and Late Policy:

Any cancellation without 24 hour notice will be charged 50% of scheduled services in order to reschedule. If you do not pay the 50% at the time of cancellation, all future appointments will be canceled as well.

Any client more than 15 minutes late for an appointment will be canceled or not all services will be able to be rendered. Running more than 15 mins late is considered a cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation policy.

These policies are something new for my clients as I have in the past been pretty flexible. With that said, this policy is to help me best serve all clients who would like to get in for an appointment during my limited hours.

Today is my last day being the primary renter of my own salon studio space. After much consideration over the last 2 years I have decided to cut back at the salon from 3 to 4 evenings a week to 2 days a month.

Working as a stylist full time for the past 16 years has been an amazing experience but with working another full time job I needed to find a better balance between work and life.

I look forward to being able to continue to serve my clients and maintain the relationships I have built while giving myself the time freedom of having my evenings to myself.

Thank you to all of my clients and friends who have supported me over the last 16 years. I am still here to help you will your hair needs but things will look different. You will want to plan in advance to get on the schedule during the 2 days a month that I am taking appointments.

This little cutie came in for his first haircut with me today. In my 16 years of doing hair he sat the most still of any kiddo and it shows in his styling new hairdo!

Happy Saturday! Good news, I have approval from my doctor to return to work at the salon on March 15th. I have already reached out to some of you to work on getting you scheduled. If I missed you, I’m sorry! Please feel free to reach out to get your next appointment scheduled!

FYI - I will be out of the salon and not working for about 4-6 weeks. I will be having surgery and will return to work once I get sign off from my Dr that I am able to return. I am currently working through my scheduled appointments to either refer them to someone while I am out or to reschedule them for when I return. It was Father/Son Mullet day at the salon. These 2 are the Best! They pretty much let this crazy lady do what she wants. K-man has cooler hair than most people I know and Don’s hair was born to be a mullet! 😎❤️

Sunday Funnies: Facts 🐕🐩

We started in May with this transformation. Today we got her to blonde. There were another 2 sessions in there but I apparently didn’t take pictures. 😍

This before and after is the start of what will be a summer long project. This client wants to be blonde. We have been coloring her dark brown with red accents for quite awhile. Removing reds can sometimes be a challenge. Our goal is lightening to an all over light brown with balayage blondes. This with take a couple of sessions but I am happy with how her hair lifted during round 1.

This client had colored her own hair. 😳 It was originally box colored black. It was then bleached, then colored red (bottom left), then at home color remover was used (bottom middle). 😰

She came in tonight and was unsure what we could do. We did a conditioning treatment while we processed some test strands, we decided going dark was the best option. (Bottom right is after the conditioning treatment)

This color turned out beautifully! Considering what this hair has been through. I was impressed with the amount of shine and the softness we were able to create. 😍
