Immersion Sauna + Cold Plunge Studio

Nothing like a fresh clean sign. 🙌🏼

If you noticed the towels folded EXTRA WELL today, it's becasue they were folded with love (or mom making them do it 😉) Immersion is my business, but family always plays a big role. Many of you have met a kid or two of mine at some point and are always so kind.
Thank you for allow me to teach them how to run a small business, interact with clients, and sometimes do things they don't reeeeally want to do. :)

You know what's hard... trying to create a logo that combines two completely opposing forces! If you want to hear the thoughts that were behind this change, here you go...

Hot and cold are equal representations of Immersion. And just like french fries dipped in a Wendy's Frosty... even though they shouldn't work, they somehow go great together.

We needed to get those elements to fit.

I loved how our first logo melded them into one. So with our updated version, I wanted to create the same effect but with a more polished, professional look.

First, cold. There are really only a few ways to visually represent cold... blue, ice, snow.

Upon first glance you might miss it, but our new logo makes a subtle nod to the ice cube of our first logo in its shape! Ooo... Easter egg!

Second, the flame. It's obvious and beautiful. But the inside... not a flame but a droplet of water. Maybe you noticed that??

Third, the gradient. Orange and blue are opposite each other on the color wheel. While they don't "match" they are complimentary and create a pleasing contrast.... JUST like sauna + cold plunge. The gradient adds a little unexpected, a little boldness, and a logo that stands out rather than melts into the background.

I think it perfectly pays homage to the past while moving Immersion into the future beautifully bringing together two opposing elements in a complimentary way.

So how did we get from there to here?

It's worth a read to know the story.

2023...

Erik, Immersion's first owner, started cold plunging in his bathtub to support his mental health after deployment. He shared it with all the vets he knew! Pretty soon, all his buddies were taking cold showers and plunging in their tubs... and encouraging him to bring this to more people.

2024...

Erik opened Immersion's doors. It was small and grassroots. An ai logo and two small rooms in the back of a gym. It didn't need to be fancy to help people feel better. And it did! Things started to grow.

2025...

With that growth came the addition of Michaela to help keep the momentum going and the business growing.

2026...

Immersion moved into its own private location with an upgraded space and saw more and more client growth. In April, Michaela became the sole owner as Erik began to grow his nutrition business to keep supporting others in their health

Now...

This brand change represents the growth of Immersion from humble beginnings to a blooming business that supports so many in their pursuit of health and growth. It is the solid rock that more and more exciting things to come will be able to leap from!
