In honor of ✨️International Women's Day✨️ my lil woman owned and run salon and safe space!!

I was basically born into the salon life so no one was surprised that this was the path I chose– but there truly isn't a place I belong more as the loud, weird, feminist, lover, girls girl that I am! Every day is really a dream!

Just 2 years ago I was announcing the salon and now we're bloomed, busy and full of the most incredible women and our clients! There arent words to explain how much this truly means to me that I got to create a safe space for everyone with the energy I want to attract, the most incredible group of women working here along side me in a career that lights my soul on fire; inspired by my best friend and the strongest woman I know, my mom!

So happy International Womans Day to all the incredible women/woman identifying/fem presenting people who see this! The world is better with you in it!

And as always, i couldn't do any of this without my amazing clients! I love you all so much!

Hi everyone– in light of the recent events in Minneapolis and people involved in my life here in Fargo, being taken I just wanted to make it very clear – Top Knotch is a safe space for everyone, always. We do not care about your status here, we dont care how you got here, we love all our clients and we're just glad you are here. In order for everyone to be as safe as possible, please tell anyone at the salon if you would prefer the door to be locked while youre visiting us. No explanation needed, just let us know to lock our doors so we can let other clients, only, in while you're with us.

Life is sad and scary right now but your time with us doesnt have to be. Clients are always welcome, ICE is not ever.

January has been really, really hard for me. Without over-sharing, Asher and I became a single-income household at the beginning of the month. 2 weeks ago while figuring out my PCOS diagnosis, I was informed that I'd need surgery to remove an 8cm tumor and likely my entire left o***y, as soon as surgery can get scheduled. My Ehler Danlos Syndrome has had me take a couple bad falls down the stairs at my house which made me take a couple days off work. Now yesterday, I slipped on the ice and broke my radius bone in my right arm, and I'm right arm dominant. Unfortunately being self employed, there's no PTO or anyone to pick up my slack and I wasnt as prepared as I should've been with accident insurance to cover any of this.

While I'd love to say that I'm not worried, I cant. This economy is hard enough in the normal day to day, much less with the looming uncertainty of being out of work. Im hoping once my arm is fully stabilize in a cast, that I'll be able to do most things at the salon, just at a slower pace so please be patient with me.

We had a small, but sweet turn out for our Holiday Open House aka our first lil event ever!
