✨ Monday Waxing FAQ ✨

❓ Today’s Question:
Should I shave or trim before my appointment? How long should the hair be?

💬 My Answer:
The longer the hair, the better.

I recommend NOT shaving for at least 2–3 weeks before your appointment. Ideally, hair should be about the length of a grain of rice. This gives the wax something to properly grip so it can remove the hair from the root — leaving you smoother and helping slow regrowth over time.

Please don’t trim unless we’ve talked about it beforehand. If the hair is too short, it can be harder to remove and may require more time between visits.

Consistency is key with waxing. Staying on a regular schedule leads to softer, finer regrowth and better long-term results.

✨ Today officially marks ONE YEAR of Wax It With Gigi ✨

I truly cannot thank all of my clients, family, and friends enough for supporting me and believing in me this past year. Whether you’ve been with me since day one, referred a friend, shared a post, or simply trusted me with your services — it has meant more to me than you will ever know.

This year has flown by faster than I could’ve imagined. There were moments that pushed me outside of my comfort zone, long days, growing pains, and a lot of learning… but through it all, God has been there for me every single step of the way. I am so grateful for the strength, guidance, and opportunities that have come my way throughout this journey.

Opening my own business was one of the scariest, but most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made and being able to do what I love every day because of the support from this community is something I will never take for granted.

Thank you for keeping me busy, trusting my work, and allowing me to grow into the esthetician and business owner I am becoming.
