What's the difference?

We've talked about both during The Fall Skin Reset, so now let's put them side-by-side. 👀

Both are professional exfoliation treatments—but they work differently.

✨ MICRODERMABRASION — Polish • Smooth • Refresh

Microdermabrasion uses physical exfoliation to remove surface buildup and dead skin cells.

It may be a good option when we're focusing on:

• Dull-looking skin
• Rough or uneven texture
• Mild congestion
• Smoother-feeling skin
• A refreshed complexion

Think of it as giving the surface of your skin a professional polish.

🍁 CHEMICAL PEELS — Resurface • Renew • Reveal

Chemical peels use carefully selected exfoliating acids to create a controlled exfoliation of the skin.

Depending on the type of peel selected, they may be used to address the appearance of:

• Uneven skin tone
• Sun-related discoloration
• Congestion
• Fine lines
• Dullness
• Uneven texture

And remember—chemical peel doesn't automatically mean dramatic peeling. The amount of visible flaking isn't what determines whether a treatment was effective.

SO WHICH ONE IS BETTER?

Neither.

The better treatment is the one that's appropriate for YOUR skin. 🤎

Your skin type, sensitivity, current condition, products you're using, treatment history and goals all need to be considered before choosing professional exfoliation.
