no bleach color to get us from a high maintenance color to something more low maintenance ✨ we didn’t want to fully sacrifice all the effort it took to get bleached out to this point but the every 6-8 week touch ups just weren’t in the schedule anymore. nothing adding in a root & some lowlights can’t fix

while i do love myself a good bleach out w vivids, there’s something about putting a vivid over highlights that just hits so different. especially adding in a cool color block w it ✨

okay okay so we all know and love calico hair by now, but this time i’m taking some inspo from another type of cat 🐈⬛ so here we’ve got black cat hair, specifically black cats when they lay in the sun and get the little rust spots :,) perfect for those who want to have a very subtle color in natural light but wanna feel like they still have vivid/bright hair in the sun ✨

Doing color like this with an install was a multi day process which started with removing the old k-tips, doing the lighting process, then the new install. Day 2 was dedicated to this cool ass fruit roll up looking color hehe

pro tip if you’ve got baby bangs that have grown out to full length bangs (and if you’ve got curly/wavy hair) straighten them first to trim them back to baby bangs. that way when you wear them natural they turn into fetus bangs and you’ve got more time before the next trim hehe
also in case you’ve been thinking about making the jump to baby bangs but are worried you might not like them, do it !!! i wanted them for years but was afraid they wouldn’t work with my curls and now that i’ve got them i don’t think i will ever go back to a different style. the baby bang life has me in a chokehold now (not that im complaining)
