For this look here I used the techniques I learned while I attended and Depth Tour Class at in Saratoga NY. ⁣

It is so much fun meeting people that are in the industry. I especially love learning and watching other stylists’ approach to hair. It’s fascinating to see the innner workings of fellow stylists create their signature looks. ⁣

An all over blonder look. A bold face frame. Lightened up the underneath since she had been receiving partials for while. I used 8 bowls of lightener 😳 to achieve this look. It took 2.5 hours to apply to create this. And another 2 hours to melt/tone, Cut and style.

So like does this even need a caption? I still love love love the formula for this dope tone using shades EQ 9GB, 9V, 000 Clear. .

Did you know!? That 90% of my blonde babes are foiled right up to the root!? I then drop it like it’s hot to melt and tone to create a “lived-in look” without teasing. ⁣

I do this keep my blondes BLONDE, but also maintaining the longevity of their Blonding Service so that as their melt fades with washing,and their blonde is growing out the blonde is that much higher up when the melt fades and they maintain that super blonde look. ⁣

Also this is what I look like 99% of the time behind the chair. A messy topknot and a bleach stained shirt due to me forgetting to put my apron on, mainly because I’m super pumped to start foiling and I am so excited to see my clients. ⁣

I like cool glasses (yup⁣
They’re prescription) and wild nails (currently long pointy and painted cow print). ⁣
⁣
Did you know I LOVE DIY and I’m super handy. My husband and I bought our dream home and we have been renovating since December. I know how to use power tools, build things and I can do electrical work. I’m going to tackle tile work this winter. ⁣

That was my thought halfway through foiling my models hair yesterday. With a salon full of stylists that bought tickets to see my Blonding technique I start sweating and doubting myself. I choose to do a pretty big transformation for our class. I was so determined to deliver something incredible. ⁣

However my mind was going 1,000,000 miles per hour the whole time about my application and technique and that’s on top of trying to articulate answers and explanations that made sense to questions that were being asked. ⁣

Can I pull this off and not F it up? Am I going to finish on time? Will I over process? Will I have bleeders? Am I going to get an even lift? Is that section too thick, is that foil tight enough? Oh man I hope I don’t disappoint everyone. I think this as I swear and sweat and foil my little heart out. ⁣

I thank my lucky stars to have had the best assistant work by my side and make this process run smoothly while anticipating my next move before I even make it and reading my mind the entire time. Thank you my sweet .hair

In the end, it all worked out! I really felt like I delivered and educated all while being as real and relatable to everyone in the room. I pushed through put my best foil forward. I loved this transformation and I loved teaching you. I love teaching , I would love to teach more. I hope you left this class feeling inspired, or having an “ah ha!” Moment, or picked up one new truck you can take back to use behind the chair! ⁣
