It is with so much sadness to announce that Joes Headquarters will not be reopening in 2021. We thank all of you for your years of loyalty and dedication. Please message through here, if you would like for your current stylist/barber to contact you.

We are so excited to be back to work today. We are doing our best to get back to everyone to help you get in for an appointment.

We will be opening with limited staff, therefore we will have limited appointment times. Our schedules will be fluctuating due to the limited staff.

Starting today we will have a receptionist in Monday-Saturday, which will make it easier to call and make an appointment.

We hate the masks just as much as you, but please know we will all be required to wear one.

We will open our doors Monday, June 15th!!!!Please understand that there are a lot of new policies and procedures we must follow. We may edit this list as the week progresses.

*Hours will be fluctuating for a little while. We are returning to work with less than our full staff, so we have to change the schedule accordingly. Please understand that while we are excited to get back to work, some of us have underlying health issues, making it difficult to return to work right now. The staff that will be returning, is doing their best to accommodate their own clientele as well as the entire clientele of Joes Headquarters.
* We will be operating by APPOINTMENT ONLY. The doors to the building will remain locked and you will only be allowed in if you have an appointment.
* DO NOT come in for your appointment if you have been sick or in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19. If you show up and are sick, we will send you home and you will be charged 100% of your appointment fee.
* When you arrive, REMAIN IN your car and and call the salon. We will come open the door for you. Please be patient if there is a wait time. Your stylist/barber may be with a client still, or sanitizing.
* Social distancing of 6 feet is required, except with your stylist. Please remain in your stylists chair and do not wander the salon.
* Facial coverings or MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR STAFF AND ALL CLIENTS. You will NOT be allowed to enter the building without a mask.
* ARRIVE ALONE to your appointment, exceptions include caregivers and parents ONLY if their child is recieving a hair service.
* Please bring minimal items in with you.
* We will not have any beverages or snacks available to you. Please bring your own if you feel you will need something during your appointment time.
* Hand washing/hand sanitizer will be available upon entering the salon.
* Your appointment will look different than you are used to and we ask that everyone remain flexible and patient with us.

We are excited to get back to work and we ask for your patience and understanding while we adjust to our new normal. If you have concerns or questions, please contact us prior to your appointment. Please also note that each stylist will likely have their own policies and procedures in place to go along with these.

CLIENTS: The governor is expected to announce tomorrow if we will be receiving another extension to our reopen date. Please note, given our profession, an extension past May 1st is highly likely. In the meantime, we will begin preparing for the reopening of our studio. When we do reopen this will require some patience and cooperation from all of you as we will have strict guidelines and procedures we will be required to follow in order to start seeing clients again.

1. The use of masks and gloves will highly likely be a requirement for all stylists and clients to wear during an appt.
2. We will have to fully sanitize our stations between clients so please be patient, arrive on time, and if needed allow us a few extra minutes to clean up before you sit in our chair.
3. There will be no double booking of clients allowed, which means we will only be able to fit a limited number of clients into one day. This will also mean you can not bring any guests with you to your appointment. (If you are bringing a small child in for a haircut, we will make arrangements for that as needed.)
4. The scheduling of your appt may require a credit card or deposit up front. If you miss your appt you may be charged in full for it and moved to the bottom of our waiting list, however we understand emergencies happen so this will be dealt with on an individual basis. Any last minute cancellations or no shows will be charged 100% for their missed appointment.
5. If you are sick, have been sick, been around or exposed to anyone with Covid-19 within the last 14 days, please be honest with us and reschedule your appointment. Anyone who comes in to our studio and appears to be sick will be asked to reschedule. Please understand this is for your safety and ours.

Please understand will have more policies to come and will be following them very strictly to ensure that we will be able to remain open and serving you. We are asking for your cooperation and understanding as we navigate through this. This is new to all of us and your cooperation will allow us to too accommodate every single one of you.

Please note we will not begin accepting any appointments until we receive confirmation on our reopen date. We miss you all and can not wait to have you back in our chairs, thank you for your patience and support through all of this.

Due to Gov Whitmer’s recent order, Joe’s Headquarters will be closed until April 14th. Sorry for any inconvenience. We will be working diligently to reschedule all appointments. Thank you for your ongoing support and patience through this entire process.

Today was a tough day. We made the decision for Joe’s safety that today would be his last day, until we feel it is safe for him to return. With everything going on, things at the shop will be day-day. Tomorrow will be by appointment only. Please be patient and understand that we are doing all we can in this very unsure time. We want to do right by all clients and staff. Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding

As of now, we will continue business hours as normal. We are doing everything we can to take all necessary precautions in keeping everything sanitized. We completely understand and encourage you to cancel your appointment if you are feeling ill, as we will do the same. Due to the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in MI, we will be taking extra precautions here at the shop. We also urge anyone who is ill, or been in close proximity with someone they think is sick, to please not come into the shop. We are happy to work with you in rescheduling your appointment.
