As my maternity leave slowly comes to a close, I wanted to officially say… I’M COMING BACK! ✨

Starting October 5th, I’ll be back behind the chair! ✂️

This maternity leave has looked a little different than I ever imagined. We’ve spent the last few months soaking up time with our sweet Juniper, making memories, going on little adventures, and adjusting to our new life as a family of three. 🤎

As excited as I’ve been to spend this time with my family, I’m also SO excited to get back to doing what I love. I’ve missed my clients, my team, creating beautiful hair, and all the conversations that happen in my chair. I can’t wait to see all of you again, catch up on everything I’ve missed, and of course show you all the sweet pictures of Juniper!

I know it can be a little scary when your hairstylist goes on maternity leave and you’re not sure when or how they’ll be coming back. So to everyone who waited for me, thank you. And to everyone who trusted my amazing team while I was gone, I appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

My schedule will be a little different when I return:

✨Wednesday: 10–7
✨Friday: 9–7

Guess who has an article about her cosmetology journey?? ME! ♥️🥹

Being on maternity leave has been such a special season of life, but I’ll be honest… it’s been hard being away from the career I love so much. Hair has been such a huge part of who I am for the last 7 years, so getting the opportunity to sit down and talk about my journey made me feel a little closer to it again. 🥹✂️

From starting cosmetology because I thought I wanted to do makeup, to falling completely in love with hair, finding my home at Leading Edge, building my clientele, becoming an educator and mentor, and now stepping into motherhood… it’s crazy to look back and see how every little piece of my journey brought me here.

And trust me when I say… when I come back in October, it’s going to be like I never left. 😂♥️ I am already counting down the days until I’m back behind the chair!

To all of my clients who have been so patient, understanding, and supportive while I’ve been away thank you. Truly. I’m such a people pleaser, and learning to slow down and put myself first in this season has been harder than I expected. Your patience has meant more to me than you know. 🥹

I can’t wait to see all of your faces again in October! ♥️ And if you haven’t made your appointment yet… go ahead and book it! My books are already filling up quickly for my return. 👀

Hi everyone 🤍 I wanted to give a little life update on me and baby Juniper.

First, we are both doing okay 💕 Juniper is still in the NICU and continuing to grow and get stronger every day. As of right now, we’re not 100% sure when she’ll be coming home. Most likely it will be around her due date in August but in true NICU fashion, it’s really up to her 🤍

I’ll be working a little bit in July, but I only have a few openings since my books were already pretty full before my emergency C-section. I’ve been reaching out to clients whose appointments I had to cancel in May and June. If I haven’t contacted you yet and you had an appointment scheduled, please feel free to text or message me 🫶🏼

As of now, I still plan to take my maternity leave through October. If Juniper happens to come home earlier than expected, I may begin my leave sooner so any clients booked toward the end of July will be notified ahead of time if anything changes.

I’ve also had so many people ask how they can support us or what we need right now 🤍 If you feel led to, you can donate to our GoFundMe or shop our registry; both are linked in my bio. Please don’t ever feel obligated, your love, prayers, and support truly mean everything to us.

This is definitely not how we imagined things going, but the love and support we’ve received has meant more than I can even put into words. Thank you all so much for being patient with me and for loving on our girl 🤍

I normally don’t lead with the before… but this grey blending deserved its moment 🤍
