I normally don’t lead with the before… but this grey blending deserved its moment 🤍

Grey blending is not a quick or one-size-fits-all service. It’s a customized process that takes strategy, patience, and a deep understanding of tone, depth, and placement. The goal isn’t just to “cover” greys it’s to seamlessly blend them so they grow out softer, more natural, and lower maintenance over time.

Every head of hair is different. Density, percentage of grey, previous color, and natural undertones all play a role in how we formulate and apply. It’s about creating dimension that works with your greys, not against them.

5 hours later and the patience paid off ✨

Black box dye is one of the toughest colors to lift, and transformations like this don’t happen overnight. The goal isn’t to rush the process, it’s to protect the integrity of the hair while slowly and safely working toward the end result.

With the right expectations, a solid plan, and trust in the process, we were able to lift years of black box color to a beautiful natural brown 🤎

A few things that make a big difference in projects like this:
• Being honest with your client about the process and timeline
• Doing a test strand beforehand to see how the hair will react
• Using a bonder, basically hair insurance for both the stylist and the client to help maintain strength during the lift

Big color corrections aren’t about speed. They’re about knowledge, teamwork, and protecting the hair first.
