What a great night making new friends! I’m amazed and humbled by the experts I got to spend time with. These women are so smart and talented at their craft. There is so much that goes into aesthetic injections— the nuances and details make all the difference in outcomes.

The Merz headquarters was also beautiful and they welcomed us with abundance. The food was fantastic, gifts, even an actual red carpet. People remembered my name and made a point to say hello. It was a wonderful time and fully worth the drive to Raleigh! 🥰💜

I’m so excited! I have an event tonight where I get to tour the Merz Aesthetic Headquarters in Raleigh, take a class, and network with other NC injectors over food and drinks.

Being a solo nurse injector can be lonely. This industry is cut-throat which rubs up against my core values. I’m really hoping to make some friends in my industry.

It’s been hard to meet other injectors in the area. On top of that, I’m not your average injector. I’m like the injector-next-door rather than the typical glamor girl. I love my job because of the science, anatomy, and art of it. I wasn’t drawn to aesthetics for a love of beauty and luxury. For me it was the art and helping people feel good about themselves which can be life changing. For these reasons, I feel like an odd ball.

The difference a year makes! Let’s talk a little bit about this- last year I was pregnant at this time. Since giving birth I’ve lost a lot of weight which has made my face change drastically. Not that I would have- but I’m glad I didn’t undergo any treatments at the time.

I often have clients come in who have experienced a lot of weight loss. I like to tell these clients that their treatments are not one and done, and often require multiple modalities to achieve their goals. Always take into consideration that rapid weight loss can have an aging effect on the face and neck. A lot of times, I like for my client to reach their goal weight before addressing issues. Weight loss doesn’t happen overnight, so the fix does not either.

Lip filler can be emotional journey with a beautiful destination. I always prepare my patients for what to expect over their two weeks of healing time. You may feel ambivalent about your lips at times as things settle, but in the end you’re likely to be very happy. If you’re not, we’ll work together until you are because I care about how you feel. After all, one of my patients did just post that I SLAYED her lips 🥰

The amount of tox you need is determined by your current injector’s professional assessment of your muscle movement (not by your friend, or your sister, or the injector you saw two years ago). Other factors that effect how much tox you require- your sun exposure, skin quality, overall health, amount of exercise, lifestyle, hydration, diet, and others.

💉 Remember: 3 units of Dysport = 1 unit of all of tox

Late Cancellation/ Now Show Policy

Please be advised:

We have a STRICT no show/cancellation policy in effort to keep the cost of our services down for all of our clients.

Clients who do not show, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, will be charged a $50 late cancellation/no show fee without exception.

This policy is outlined and agreed upon in writing at the time of booking.

Tips for avoiding the no late cancellation/ no show fee include:

- Please reschedule your appointment in the days prior to when you are emailed and texted your appointment reminders.
- Please do not schedule appointments during work hours if you are unsure you can leave work.
- If you or your children are feeling unwell, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible the night before or first thing in the morning. Do not wait to cancel until the hours before your appointment time.
