FAQ: Why is the New Client Curly Cut 30 minutes longer that a return visit?
It’s not that I put less love into your hair after the first appointment! It’s because your first appointment will be more of a complete remodel of your hair - including your cut, personalized treatments to help the health of each strand, and hammering out the styling products and routine that fit your lifestyle and the amount of time you ACTUALLY have to style your hair. I will never recommend a 6 product routine, even if you’re the most high maintenance babe on the face of the planet.
Could I spend an hour on just styling your hair? Absolutely! But 95% of my clients are looking for that low maintenance kind of love for their curls.
By the time you come back for your next cut with me, you will have infinitely less questions and challenges with your hair, which means the appointment will be about maintaining the health and style instead of starting over.
My cuts are built to last for months, not weeks. Following my personalized advice for your hair will result in less of a struggle and more of a victory when it comes to your curls. I’m here for you and your hair journey, whatever it may look like. ⚡️

let’s talk about growing out your natural color! when transitioning from coloring your hair to embracing the grey there’s a common misconception that lightening it is the best way to transition. silver hair is free of pigment and grey hair has significantly reduced pigment, making almost any tone you put next to it seem brassy af. standard blonding services won’t cut it and are especially a risky choice for those with curls. today we took Melissa from high contrast highlights against a pepper heavy natural color to a seamless dimensional color that will allow her to continue to grow out her natural color without the upkeep of monthly toners. 2023 WHAT A TIME
Ups and downs and everything in between, just like you! This was a year of a lot of goodbyes, but a few very sweet close relationships built.
In the new year I will intentionally set more time aside for myself, outside of owning a business. More time outdoors. More time practicing yoga and drinking tea. More time cozying up with a book. More time intentionally expressing myself through my ever evolving style.
I want to continue to grow out my hair. I’d love to adopt another cat. Finish all interior home projects, so come spring I can work on the exterior. Be the best partner and friend I can be. Travel often. Laugh without holding back. Show the f**k up for myself. Thank you for coming along for the ride 🧡
