LaTaylor Elise is a proud native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Mobile, Alabama, and the youngest daughter of Roderick and LaTyeshia Rembert. A 2016 graduate of Pine Bluff High School, she was raised in a family rooted in service, which instilled in her an early understanding that her life’s purpose would be centered around uplifting others.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 2020. After graduation, LaTaylor worked for the Federal Government for over two years, where she gained valuable insight into the systemic barriers impacting underserved communities. This experience ultimately led her back home to Pine Bluff, where she felt called to serve and invest in the people and places that shaped her.

LaTaylor currently serves as the Assistant Director of Programs and Director of Mental Health at Targeting Our People’s Priorities with Service (TOPPS), Inc., where she has been in leadership for over three years. Her work focuses on youth development, mental wellness, and creating safe spaces that empower young people to grow, heal, and thrive. She is deeply passionate about breaking stigmas surrounding mental health, strengthening her community, and helping others recognize their purpose and potential.

She is currently pursuing advanced education to further expand her ability to advocate for mental wellness and sustainable community change.

LaTaylor is especially excited to be part of the Glow Up Gathering because it aligns with her personal mission of growth, healing, and transformation. She believes a true “glow up” begins within, and she is passionate about encouraging others to embrace their journey, walk confidently in their purpose, and become the person they were created to be.
