We are honored to recognize Portia Payne as a Timeless Award Recipient and our Keynote Speaker for the Timeless Fashion & Awards Show!

Portia is a proud mother of four beautiful daughters and grandmother to ten amazing grandchildren. She serves our community daily through her work with Hoke County Schools, where she passionately mentors young men and women—encouraging them to stay focused in school, lead with kindness, and give back to their communities. She is known to many young men and women, and parents as Mama Portia.

A professional model, community mom, and true beacon of light, Portia embodies resilience, elegance, and purpose. Her life’s work continues to uplift others, inspire generations, and remind us all of the power of love, faith, and perseverance.

Introducing Dinesha Neal: A Beacon of Resilience, Purpose & Empowerment 🌟💪🏾

It is my profound honor to introduce the incredible Dinesha Neal, a powerful mother of six, survivor, visionary, and founder of the Jai6 Youth Foundation—a movement dedicated to providing hope, guidance, and opportunity to those who need it most. 💙🙌🏾

Dinesha’s journey is one of unimaginable pain, relentless perseverance, and unstoppable purpose. Born into trauma and faced with emotional and physical abuse by those meant to protect her, she was placed in group homes and foster care within the North Carolina system, feeling like just another statistic. She aged out of the system with no life skills, no support system, and no guidance. 🚪💔

But her struggles didn’t end there. Trapped in s*x trafficking for three years, Dinesha courageously fought her way to freedom. And from that darkness, she emerged with a burning vision: to become the person she wished she had when she was younger—someone who would guide, support, and empower the next generation. 💪🏾🔥

The Jai6 Youth Foundation was birthed from that vision. The name is deeply personal, representing all six of her children, whose names share the root “Jai.” They are her inspiration and the reason she continues to fight. 💖👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾

The mission of Jai6 is clear and unwavering: to inspire, educate, and empower at-risk youth through character-building, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurship. The foundation aims to instill personal responsibility and accountability while helping youth discover their potential and find meaningful ways to contribute to society. 🌍✨

At the heart of Jai6 is the Dynamic Jewels and Gentlemen program, which teaches life skills, leadership, and the importance of service. Every year, young people contribute hundreds of thousands of hours back to their communities, learning the transformative power of giving back. 💎🤝🏽

This life-changing program doesn’t just teach—it transforms. Through community engagement, teamwork, and creative expression, youth build confidence, compassion, and pride. Dance, cheer, and mime are just a few of the tools used to keep participants active, engaged, and inspired. 💃🏾🤸🏾‍♂️🎭

But Dinesha’s vision for Jai6 goes even further. She dreams of creating outreach and transitional homes for children and adults in need—places that not only provide shelter but also offer training in life skills, trades, and personal growth. 🏡📚✨

Her goal? To break the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and abuse by providing people with the resources they need to thrive. And she’s doing just that, one life at a time. 🙌🏾💙

Dinesha’s journey would not have been possible without the support of her Fayetteville community, mentors, parents, and especially Isley Cotton, the high school social worker who made sure she felt seen, loved, and cared for during her most vulnerable years. 🫶🏾💐

The Jai6 Youth Foundation is more than just an organization—it is a movement of resilience, empowerment, and love. And Dinesha’s past does not define her. Instead, it fuels her mission to ensure no child or adult is left to endure what she did—alone. 💪🏾🔥

This is only the beginning, and Dinesha will not stop until every young person and struggling adult has the support, guidance, and opportunities they deserved.
