Where do I go? What do I wear? What am I supposed to do when I get there? Do I need to know what I want? Am I going to have to make small talk for an hour?!

So, from one overthinker to another, here are a few things I want you to know before coming to see me

You don’t need to know what to do when you arrive. I’ll talk you through everything

Come with makeup on or without it. It makes absolutely no difference to me.

Want to chat the whole way through? Lovely. Want to close your eyes and barely say a word? Also lovely. You never need to make conversation for my benefit.

If there’s something you don’t like. please tell me. Don’t like having your scalp touched? Hate being cold? Want more or less pressure? I would always rather know.

Ask me ALL the questions. Before your appointment, during it, afterwards. Nothing is silly.

You don’t need to sort your skincare routine out before coming to see me. I’m not judging what you use, what you don’t use, or the fact your routine currently consists of whatever was on sale at Amazon.

I might ask if I can take a before and after photo, but you can always say no. You don’t need a reason.

I’m not judging your skin. I’m not judging what skincare you are using or not using.
Basically, you don’t need to know the rules before you come.

There aren’t any.
