What does 23 years in business teach you?

More than we could ever fit into one post.

Some lessons came from incredible mentors. Others came from mistakes we’d never want to repeat. Every one of them has shaped who we are and how we serve our guests.

This isn’t a list of rules. It’s a collection of beliefs we’ve chosen to protect because they influence every hire, every guest experience, every class we take, and every relationship we build.

We’re proud of the salon we’ve built, but we’re even more excited about who we’re still becoming.

If you’ve followed Freshair for years, thank you for being part of the journey. If you’re new here, welcome. We hope these values are something you feel every time you walk through our doors.

Every great game day starts long before kickoff. 🏈

For the third year in a row, the Freshair team had the honor of partnering with the University of Arkansas Razorback Cheerleading and Razorback Dance Team to help prepare them for the season ahead.

Together, we shared professional techniques for long-lasting game day makeup that stands up to Arkansas heat, humidity, and hours on the sidelines. We also demonstrated durable hairstyles tailored to each team’s needs, from curls that keep their bounce through every dance routine to secure half-up styles designed to stay in place through every cheer, stunt, and celebration.

It’s always a privilege to work with these talented young women and play a small part in helping them feel confident before they take the field.

A heartfelt thank you to Keune Haircosmetics North America for sponsoring this event once again. Their continued partnership has helped make this tradition possible, and we’re grateful to celebrate our third year working together with the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Great hair doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through education, intention, and mastering the details.

Our Freshair team spent the day with Keune and NYC Stylist Carmody Homan for The Finish Factor, a class focused on elevating the final moments behind the chair.

We refined blow drying techniques, explored new ways to use our tools and products, and learned how to create volume, movement, and polished finishes that truly last. One quote from Carmody stuck with all of us:

“We’re leveling up from H&M stylists to Armani stylists.”

It wasn’t about learning flashy new tricks. It was about refining the fundamentals, being intentional with every product and every tool, and understanding that the finish is what your guest remembers long after they leave the salon.

A huge thank you to Keune Haircosmetics , Tim Abney , and Carmody Homan for another incredible day of education. From breakfast and lunch to world-class training, you continue to invest in our team, our artistry, and ultimately our guests.

Great hair starts with technique. Exceptional hair is all in the finish. 💜
