One of the most asked questions on this style was: “How did you secure the braid?” 👀

The process was actually pretty simple. I braided well past my client’s natural hair to create a strong foundation. Once I reached the end, I tied two secure knots and finished with one small dot of nail glue for extra hold.

Because I was working with 100% human bulk hair, the hair is much silkier and less textured than natural hair, so securing the ends properly is key to making sure the style lasts.

It’s all in the technique, patience, and attention to detail.

This has to be one of my favorite transformations! Before her K-Tip extension install, we completed an Smooth Over Treatment one week prior to help create the perfect foundation for a seamless blend and polished finish.
