I can’t believe summer is almost over 😱. I’m preparing for back to school in my house and will be savoring these next couple weekends before the schedule of school reattaches itself to my family. I’ve mostly enjoys my summer. I made a point to deliberately try and do stuff this year. I want to try and do more. Really focused on putting the “live” in living my life like it’s golden. ✨

Lately I’ve been missing having a real reason to get dressed everyday. Being in school was a perfect reason to pop out and show n*****s (in my Kendrick Lemar voice), now I will say I do tend to get dressed for my doctors appointments but don’t always have the energy to also do a full face and my hair is 1/2” long so there’s no elaborate hairstyles lol. It’s also way too hot for wigs 😂

Anyway, I’ve been thinking of setting up a cute corner in my house so that I can show off some outfits again. Gotta find a nice mirror first though 🤔

I was recently asked to share my cancer story with an organization called The Patient Story. I talked a bit about both times I was diagnosed with cancer, because I actually don’t think I ever publicly told the story of the first time I was diagnosed 🤔. But anyways, for anyone that cares to watch, here’s the link to the video. It came out so well and it looks so nice. Just wish I had felt better that day and could’ve put on a wig and some makeup lol. I felt so horrible the day they interviewed me and I had actually had to push the interview back a couple times 🫣.

I’ve been chronically MIA from this page. Life has been LIFING, I haven’t had a break from constant drs appointments and medical drama. But I celebrated a birthday, my kids are healthy, we moved, and it gets dark after 8pm now so things are looking up.
I don’t think I’ve worn a wig in months, I haven’t put makeup on in a long time either. I’ve really been in my own little world and secluded (and sick tbh), I’m ready to start getting back to me. Maybe I’ll start getting dressed up for my drs appointments again. Idk? For now, here’s life.

Mother of the groom makeup for this early morning Sikh wedding. She wanted a makeup that was bold but was appropriate for daytime. And I believe this was a nice marriage between the two 🤩

Which MUA are you? All black all the time, or wear what you feel like regardless of color?

I used to be really big on wear all black to all my appointments but I recently eased up and started wearing color as well. The biggest thing to me, is making sure my client knows I came to work and that they can see they’re in good hands when I show up at their door. Whether that be in black or pink, my clients can see that I’m here to work lol.

Story time: I showed up to this bride to be’s house and she had a full spread of homemade m
Blueberry muffins, bread, butter, jelly and cream cheese. AND, she had a direct chair and light set up for me. I thought it was such a sweet gesture that she absolutely didn’t need to do since I was there to be a service to her but it really brightened up my day 🥹. Very excited for her wedding coming up.

Trimming your lashes can make or break the comfortability of your falsies. My biggest tip would be to always trim the outter part of the lash to ensure that it won’t look too heavy.
