This client came to me with previous microblading. Her brows were uneven and she was not happy with them. I did my best and she loves her new brows! This is my very first brow coverup. Can’t wait to get better. I have to give myself more credit. ✨

Did you know that Vitamin C is an acid? Another word for it is ascorbic acid. Although it’s GREAT for your skin, it’ll cause skin sensitivity and cause the skin to lift while waxing. Avoid any acids to your skin 7 days prior to waxing (salicylic acid, kojic acid, glycolic acid, ascorbic acid, alpha hydroxy acids).

Additionally, avoid retinols to your skin, such as any products containing: Retin-A, retinol, vitamin A, benzoyl peroxide, and astringents two weeks before your appointment.

If you are using prescription Vitamin A medication (from the doctor, not over the counter) such as Differen, Renova, or Retin-A micro, you should not get waxed anywhere on your body UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN OFF THE MEDICATION FOR 3 WEEKS.
