Tess, Em, and Stacey recently returned from HbFest in Palm Springs, soaking up education, inspiration, and industry connections 💕💕.

They’re bringing back fresh ideas and mini lessons to share with our team, with a focus on color, cut, and modern trends. Their flights home were quite the adventure (ask about the 30-hour excursion!), but the experience was incredible.

Mint Hair Crafting is closed today in celebration of Ferndale Pride.❤️

You’ll see some of our team volunteering and celebrating Pride this weekend in downtown Ferndale. Please say hello! 👋

Originally we had intended to have a vendor booth at Pride to meet and greet our guests and neighbors but those opportunities were booked quickly. Ferndale Pride is largest free to the public event in Michigan with significant support to non profit organizations that serve the LGBTQAI+ community in Southeastern Michigan.

We hope everyone has a safe, fun weekend reflecting on human connection, kindness, support and love.

We will return emails and calls on Monday morning after 9am.

We’re proud to share that our Stylist Jill represented Mint Hair Crafting & Mint Headspa at the recent Community Housing Network Gala—a beautiful event supporting a cause close to our hearts. ❤️

As a proud supporter of their work, we contributed a Signature Melt Headspa experience to the silent auction, and we’re honored to play a small part in their mission to create housing solutions and stability for those in need.

At Mint, we love supporting our neighbors and guests in meaningful ways, and we’re so grateful to have been invited and considered for this special evening.

has packed every single one into her car and will be delivering them to the sanctuary for rescued farm animals this weekend where the pumpkins and gourds will be served up as snacks. 🎃❤️🫶

Our stylist Megz, is collecting pumpkins at Mint Hair Crafting, Saturday, November 2, from 9-3.

Megz volunteers at an animal sanctuary on Sundays and the rescued animals LOVE pumpkins!! 🎃🎃

Please bring your pumpkins our way on Saturday from 9-3. We kindly request no painted or bleached pumpkins.

Last week, we witnessed the power of teamwork, empathy and communication in Tess’ and Cori’s quick response during a medical emergency a guest experienced while at Mint Hair Crafting. They both stayed calm under pressure and helped ensure the safety and comfort of our guest as Ferndale’s First Responders arrived.

A huge shoutout to our local heroes from the Ferndale Fire Department for their timely and compassionate care. 🫶

We’re so grateful to be part of such a supportive community and hopeful for a strong recovery for our guest. ❤️❤️
