Let’s talk ingrown hairs!

First of all they suck!! If you’ve ever had one you know exactly what I’m talking about!

To be 100% real, I wish there was a magic treatment to 100% guarantee you would never get one ever again!

But as long as you continue to grow hair, you’ll still have a chance of getting them.

BUT there is hope and ways to decrease that chance!!! ✨🙏🏻

From my 10 years of experience with skin treatments and waxing, I HIGHLY recommend following these steps to get the best results post wax & reduce the likelihood of getting Ingrowns!

If your my client you KNOW how much I preach about how important it is to take care of your skin after getting waxed! It’s the biggest life saver for your skin!

#1- go to an experienced esthetician!!! I’ve heard and have seen way to many horror stories from my clients! If your wax specialist doesn’t know what their doing and uses the wrong wax, your more then likely going to break out and get Ingrowns. The technique and wax matter!!

2- exfoliate 1-2 times a week after getting waxed! You want to get rid of the layer of build up and dead skin! If you don’t it will block your hair from growing through which will then cause the hair to grow back in and that’s when the puss and ingrown happen!! Remember tho, too much exfoliating can cause more damage then good!

3- use ONLY a non pore clogging moisturizer! Don’t use lotions or creams! Only oils. Be careful tho there are some oils that will clog your pores and will cause breakouts. If you aren’t sure which oil to use or which moisturizer is best, message me and I’ll send you some recommendations!

For those that have no idea what exfoliant or oil to use, don’t sweat! I formulated a scrub/oil in one that’ll change your post wax care game!! I’m an ingredient nerd and only added the best of the best! I have a waitlist for them so if you want one message me and I’ll add you to the waitlist!!
