Just so you know...

To my loyal clients, I have to close my doors for a short time. We all know what is happening on our planet, so this is not a surprise to anyone. But it doesn't mean this is easy. In fact, this is the hardest decision I've ever had to make related to my work. I have spent the last couple of weeks disinfecting, bleaching and literally sanitizing my hands to raw stubs. But, this isn't enough to protect the ones I love. And those are you!!! You all know how much I adore you!
I am very sorry for those of you who have appointments with me over the next couple of weeks. Please believe me when I tell you that you are in the front of the line. A fastness, if you will. I will take care of you first.

So true!!!

Hi friends, big news!!! As of Saturday, we are closing our doors for the time being, but not forever. We have searched for a smaller location with no success. So, we all decided as a team to work in a salon together until the time comes that Brunette comes back. So, starting 7/30/13, we all will be joining the Ciao Bella Salon team. Christine, Carrie, and Carylin will be at the 82nd street location and Jennifer and Courtney will be at the 96th street location. And of course, we have to drag Darren with us wherever we all go. Our family will never break!!
Though this is sad, it is a such a great thing that we all go together. Thanks for all the years of support and we all look forward to taking care of our fabulous clients at Ciao Bella.

Hair tip for today: Who doesn't love long sexy waves? Go old school and use your large barrel curling iron. Start at your scalp and slide down to smooth the root, then curl the bottom half only. Straighter roots look much softer and more relaxed. Make sure you curl the hair away from your face. Curling toward the face can swallow you up and look like an "80's" prom do.
